These lights work fine, the remote can take a few extra tries to get the command correct. My issue is that the batteries are contained in a clear plastic housing and there is a permanent red light that comes on as soon as batteries are out in. The red light stays on even when the fairy lights are off. (When they are on too) it’s distracting from what I wanted to use the lights for and seems like a battery drain. Perhaps there’s a way to turn it off but it’s not included in the instructions. Had I known about this red light I would have gone with a different product.

Overall, the lights are nice and they work great in my resin projects. What isnt so great is the quality control. The first three worked well but the fourth they used the end that connected to the control box to wrap the larger circle of wire together and apparently connected the control box after wrapping them making it is impossible to unwrap this set of wires; thus it is unusable. The other three they wrapped the large circle of wires with the end that was opposite the box and they were relatively easy to unwrap and use. Hopefully they will read this and replace because it says there is a one year warranty but I see no way to contact the actual company.

Im disappointed by these lights. The main reason I bought these particular lights was because I wanted to have orange lights that also had a timer; however, the timer doesnt work for either string of lights. Once the timer is set, the lights dont turn off after six hours; the lights remain on until I turn them off. Also, after only one week of use, one string doesnt turn off by remote or button; I have to remove the batteries from the pack to get them to turn off. For this same string of lights, the light color doesnt always correspond to the color chosen on the remote. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt. Additionally, the lights dont have a nice white light. Even for a warm white, the white setting is pretty yellow. Finally, as other reviewers have mentioned, they seem to go through batteries uncommonly fast, especially for only having them on five or six hours a day without using the timer function. Overall, Ill be returning them. Id rather only have 30 lights on a $5 string of lights from another major retailer that actually operate on the timer setting, even if they dont change colors.

Just received & hung these outside on our balcony yesterday. So the twinkle lights are great (nice & bright), but the remote does not work whatsoever. I even swapped out the battery & still nothing. The only way to have it set on the timer mode is through the actual remote, which makes no sense, b/c being that the remote doesn’t work then you have to manually shut the lights off from the box (if you remember) before going to bed. Needless to say I may be returning these, wish they could just send a remote that works for them. . .

I loved these when I first git them. However they eat batteries! I have them set on the timer feature and have replaced with brand new batteries 3 times in 1 month. Very disappointed

I have been using the lights as a night light and one of the colors has done went out unfortunately. It doesnt come with what all the remote does like how long the timers are or what the dimness/brightness is for. I love the lights and love using them.

Will use for hanging Christmas/year round greenery. I especially like the brightness of the lights.

i got it to work occasionally, but some of the functions never worked and i could not determine how to get it to work consistently. I could not turn it on or off or select functions. The remote never worked at all and the battery removal drawer was so lame it was difficult to open. I would return this but it is so inexpensive that it is not worth it. Thus the review to help others not buy this product.

Received the lights and unfortunately one set didn’t work. The set that works has been a nice addition to my daughters room. I was able to return the broken set and received a replacement within a couple days. So far both sets are working well.
