I was excited to finally setup my wii with my new Samsung tv. I picked up this converter to make it work with my HDMI tv. Unfortunately the video only works on the main menu. once you select a game it shuts down and will not display video. Didnt work for me!

The picture quility is really nice and it doesnt need any additional set up.

Easy to install.

Works fine if you just want to plug it into the HDMI on your TV/monitor, but when going through my elgato, the sound is awful, terribly distorted. Tried googling solutions and just found other people with the same problem, but no solution. If you intend to use it for streaming with an elgato, would not recommend.

This is NOT 1080p despite what the box says, the wii can only output 480p as the max resoultion. This is basically just a adapter that works like componoet cables. Not 1080p.

My newest smart tv did not provide enough of the right type of port(s) to connect my original generation Wii console. This adapter works perfectly! Thank You!
