> 3 dayI change the filter once a month and I have to throw out the black part which is fine because in this package it comes with the filer and the black thing that you have to put around the motor. I would purchase them again because its made for the specific water fountain.

> 3 dayNot a bad device fountain for cats however the filters they use may or possibly have charcoal in it if thats a fact then my cats kidneys arent worth the filter for all of us who should know charcoal isnt good for cats i hav the fountain & i like the device i clean water regularly wont use the filter its i gave 3 stars i could be wrong but im not taking the risk so as i said great product just risky filter
