I actually prefer a different brand of filter that doesnt require this type of filter cartridge, but I still have one little 10 gallon tank that requires this kind of filter. These cost a little bit more than Id like to pay for three replacement filters, but they do the job they are expected to do. Changing them takes less than a minute, just make sure you have something like a bag or a garbage can at hand for the used filter.

To be honest with you these filters keep the water clean just a few days. You have to buy polish pads and wrap around the filter in order to work good.

These filters are terrible. They do not last as long as they are intended too. My 10 gallon tank went through the 1st filter already with properly treated water. They should last at least a month.

I like these filters for my aquarium. Easy to install and they keep my tank clean!
