Using it as a base for one of our products.

This hitch receiver was exactly what I needed to add another feature to my trailer! As you can see by the photos, I simply bolted the 9-inch receiver to my trailer in order to remove it later if needed (and because I didnt want to spend $75 for four tack welds!) The 5/8 in lock nut would make it difficult to remove, and the bikes would be bike locked to the trailer frame anyway. My trailer is a tilt trailer and the receiver is just out of the way. One warning is to make sure you get a long enough receiver if you bolt yours on. Now, I can transport our two Beach Cruiser bikes while using my trailer for other things, and the bike rack is nicely out of the way. Great addition!

It is a solid and well built receiver that should do exactly what I need it to.

Using this as connector for removable tongue in field trailer so what I received will work. But if for hitch receiver it wouldn’t as the reinforcement was on wrong end and crooked enough standard ball mount pin didn’t line up

It was exactly as described! I drilled a couple holes in it opposite the hitch pin hole and then cleaned it and painted it. Then bolted it to a retaining wall and used it to store a trailer hitch storage rack. Working perfectly!

Not a lots to say about a 2x2x6 piece of steel. I welded it to a skid steer attachment plate used on my Mahindra tractor. It’s used to push/pull trailers around the yard. The clean & unpainted steel allowed for a good weld. Strength & sturdiness is not a problem.

Item was not packaged well. The box was 3 times larger than the item. The item had busted out one of the sides of the box during shipment. I am surprised that it was not lost due to being loose in the now open box. But being all metal. it was unharmed.
