When I went to reorder Tork papertowels, Amazon said there was a newer version. I ordered the newer 579 instead of 578. I like them better. They are slightly narrower, which seems to help pulling one towel out at a time and not ripping. Same pretty green leaf pattern. Texture and absorbency are about the same. I would say with a slight preference to this new version. I use them in the HealthyShelf White ABS Paper Towel Dispenser - Wall Mount Shelf available on Amazon.

When I first purchased my Stainless Steel Tork Hand Towel Dispensers (I purchased 2 and paid a pretty penny for them,) I had hoped to save some money on the hand towels, so I found disposable hand towels at my local big box membership store and thought I was getting a good deal. After nearly a year of using the scratchy bargain towels that no one really liked, I decided to try these Tork brand paper towels, and WOW, what a difference! These disposable hand towels are soft and absorbent, and just wonderful! Now, we can truly appreciate our Tork Dispensers because the hand towels are really fantastic, and my family loves the feel of the towels. Despite costing more than the bargain towels, these have proven to be worth the cost. We will never go back to the scratchy towels again.

These paper towels work well with a dispenser designed for them. This is the second or third case I’ve ordered. The only negative I noticed is the paper towels in the most recent batch seemed a little smaller than they were.

This is a nice towel for the money spent. It’s not the largest and thickest. But it is also not the thinnest. Its about perfect for what we use them for and the price point is perfect. Glad I could get them here on Amazon .

If these are premium soft I wonder what regular is....cardboard? Gaaaaross... Like wiping your hands with cheap printing paper. Seriously. When I pulled one out I would have sworn I was shipped the wrong type. Nope. Labeled Premium soft. They are not soft nor premium.

Returning - definitely not as described! Description read soft & absorbent- not so! Takes 2-3 towels to get hands dry. Returning them. The Kleenex pop up towels we have bought at the store are a much better quality! Will be ordering Kleenex brand from now on.
