Greater than one weekIve used Totes umbrellas for many years but I always pick them up at a physical store. This time I ordered it from Amazon and the one I received seemed fake. It was flimsy unlike the sturdy quality that Totes normally have. It was also damaged. I returned it right away.

> 3 dayThis is perfect for my wife. It is small enough to be carried in a large bag, yet opens enough to give her good coverage in the rain. It seems to be sturdy when windy as well.

> 3 dayI had 2 small Totes umbrellas - Totes Elements and Totes Titan Compact And a big one - Totes Super Strong, which I lost on the park bench. Totes Super Strong was a big real hardcore umbrella, quite heavy though and destined to be lost due to tired hands. Totes Titan Compact presents a more compact version of it without sacrifices against stormy weather, heavy rains, intense November winds etc. Totes Titan Compact version represents a more solid build, reinforced ribs, but the same in size and shape as Elements, slightly heavier and thicker. The only difference is Elements is thinner, lighter, slightly smaller in length. They are like 2 brothers - once tough and sturdy for stormy, windy aggressive times, the other is for regular mild rains. Both complement in each other in the own mission - keep you dry. Particular nuance of the Totes umbrellas is when you leave it at the door, it is dry in 5-10 minutes, while other umbrellas are soaking like swamp for 30 min or an hour. Totes Titan Super Strong - large, long, heavy, for big tall athletic men Totes Titan Compact - you get the same as Super Strong but in a compact shape Totes Elements - smallest and probably most effective compact urban umbrella for regular rains A combination of words Titan and Compact is a winning formula. I stopped buying other no name brands in comparison with Totes, because those blurry brands under-deliver quality in too many ways. Get to know Totes and you will like it as much as I do.

> 3 dayI bought this umbrella which was supposed to have 47 (inches) coverage, even had it stated on the packaging. However, it was much smaller than my old totes umbrella. My old umbrella, which I purchased in Target almost 5 years ago, was actually 47 (inches), which is what I thought I was getting. When I measured the new umbrella, it was actually only 42 (inches) and NOT the 47 (inches) that was claimed. This is absolutely unacceptable!

> 3 dayI was a huge fan of totes umbrellas for well over 30 years. I would go to the outlets and buy a few annually. They would last easily 6 years and I even have one thats 15 years old in perfect condition. They used to be really well built with fine materials but not anymore. Based on looks and feel youd think these would last 20 years. It felt really solid at first but eventually fell flat after medium winds and a bit of rain. Things that used to be all metal is now plastic. Cheap aluminum snapping and falling off the rivets with barely a wind pushing. It doesnt even close anymore. I have to pull it hard. Im really saddened by todays totes umbrellas. I would really like to send it in for the warrantee but why would I want another garbage umbrella? Its time to move on and find something better.

> 3 dayDisappointing. Seems to open and close ok but I cant get the strap that holds it closed tight enough to fasten it closed much less get it back in the storage sleeve. Wish my 40 year old no name, auto open umbrella hadnt died. For me, this appears to be a mediocre replacement.
