totes Titan Compact Travel Umbrella, Windproof, Water Repellent Auto Open/Close , Black

This model Totes auto open, auto close umbrella had worked perfectly for years but I left it in a cab. I was pleased to see same model was still available. The new one works just as well as the one I lost. Other competing umbrella companies claim their umbrella auto opens and auto closes. The ones I purchased only auto open but do not auto close. I returned each of them for a full refund. No explanation for the lack of auto close was offered.

Definetly a good umbrella, folds up to a small size that you can carry in your briefcase. Down here in Florida, I have used it alot. Wind resistance is good and it expands to a reasonable width to keep you dry.

Thought it was great during the first drizzle I took it out in... then a real rainstorm came through and flipped it inside out (despite its apparent toughness) and now the slightest breeze will make it flip again. Very disappointed.

This seems very strong and its compact and works well. I dont know why this is listed as womens accessories. The black one works well for mem, too.

Works like it should

I had a smaller version of this automatic umbrella so I really like that feature along with the durability of the material that this umbrella is made from. I have always bought Totes as I am always sold on the durability of the umbrella and the sizes that cater to my necessity.

you cant go worong with a totes,opens easily has a wide spread easy to carry

Good umbrella for a big/tall person or you could get by with two people if need be. Auto open and close are snappy and the build feels solid. My only complaint that you may have to exert a lot of force to fasten the velcro for storage, almost to the point where you are worried about damaging the canopy. Another eighth of an inch of fabric would have been perfect.

Ive had this umbrella for 1 year now, it still works as new. Uncommon for umbrellas, that tend to break easily.
