Totes never disappoints! My daughter needed an umbrella for school. She really likes the celestial print.

I was very excited to receive this umbrella because I LOVE stars and the print was super cute. The constellation was nice to look at during poor weather. HOWEVER, this umbrella is only good to look at because it does not function well. I used this umbrella for the first time and the lightweight of the umbrella immediately had me worried. When the wind picked up a little bit, the umbrella started to wobble and felt unsturdy. Then, it finally flipped inside out, multiple times. It was SAD and DISAPPOINTING. I looked around me and no one elses umbrella flipped. For reference, the wind was blowing at approximately 14mph, according to The Weather Channel. This umbrella is cute but not practical.

I needed another small umbrella to keep in my car after the spokes on the last one were damaged. So, having had a good experience with Totes umbrellas in the past, I was happy to find this one online--and at a good price. I chose one which has a solid black exterior but a colorful pattern on the underside, which is what one sees when walking in the rain--a pick-me-up! Its compact; has an auto open/close button, which works smoothly; and a velcro fastener to use to tightly wrap & close up the umbrella fabric for storage (although I dont always do so). Overall, Im extremely pleased with my purchase & got a second one as a backup or gift.

The umbrella works well and the mechanics are smooth. Its double layered, so moderately heavier than a single layered one. I LOVE the blue sky inside! Thats really what I was looking for. I saw one years ago, but it was $50, so I was particularly glad to find a reasonable price. Bought it for myself for my birthday.

Quality is ok. Like the auto open/close. Feels cheaper than others but we’ll see how it holds up. With a lifetime warranty I would expect it to last. Oh..and yes the color is not the blue with white, flowery liner. It is the polka dot shown in their product page description. No way of knowing that based on image shown.

Compact and sturdy, met my expectations

This opens easily and stores in almost any sized bag or backpack. I really love a full-sized umbrella, but you cant beat a Totes for practicality. And I adore the black color on the outside with the clouds on the inside. It makes a rainy day or evening more fun!

This umbrella is difficult to open and is heavy. There are two layers of fabric - one layer is plastic and the other is fabric. The fabric layer is very pretty but that doesn’t make up for the difficulty in opening and being heavy!

This umbrella has already broken. It will not completely shut and the button will not work. I only used it a very few times -- maybe less than six. I wonder if this was really a Totes brand umbrella, as that brand should have a lifetime warranty and should not break so easily! It is too late to return my purchase, as I have been traveling and just got home. The return window is past.

Smells like it was stored in a full litter box before shipping to me. Absolutely disgusting. Smells just like cat urine. I’m giving it a day to air out in case it’s a chemical and not cat pee, but I will probably throw this out tomorrow. The smell is making me feel ill. I really hate that I wasted money on this horrible thing. Wish I could give this 0 or -0 rating.
