> 3 dayThe touch screen works, and it comes with great tools to use. The adhesive is okay, I had to add my own glue but for the price it isn’t bad. Plus I did remove and put it back on a few times.

20-11-2024Wished I would have noticed this come with the Home Screen button. Luckily I was able to salvage the old button from the broken screen I had. I appreciated the already attached adhesion. It’s so much better than having to adhere your own adhesion.

> 3 dayI was very excited to get this for my iPad and for the price it’s a great deal, but this one comes at a cost. The screen has patches where it doesn’t respond to touch. At least 7 different spots to be exact where it doesn’t respond to touch. Really wanted to like this because of the price but might have to pay more in the future to get a screen replacement that works just like OEM. I have to use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to be able to use my iPad as I need to. I would not purchase again in the future.

> 3 dayWell, it works, but here’s what no one will tell you: 1) replacing the iPad screen yourself is a 3-6 hour process 2) you will probably break the new screen in the process 3) there is a good reason why when you go to the Apple Store they request a lot of money to replace your screen to just hand you a new device I spent about four hours replacing a broken screen. On a scale of 1 to 10 in difficulty, replacing an iPad screen is about an 8. It doesn’t require a high degree of intellect but does require a lot of patience and perseverance and ingenuity. Half the job is removing the old screen and cleaning the iPad structure for the proper adhesion. The other half of the job is putting everything back together. For me, after spending 4 hours making sure everything worked out perfectly, and it did, as I was pressing around the screen to get the proper adhesion, the screen unexpectedly cracked. I’m not sure if this is an error I made (I can’t find one based on all the information available online), a defect in the new screen, or a defect in the iPad frame. The bottom line is, I can’t figure what the issue is for me, but I can say the product works. If you are up for the frustration, go for it and buy this everything-you-need package, but I think buying a new iPad makes more sense.

> 3 dayJust to say - you might be lucky or not with the quality (I was unlucky). This is the second screen I tried from Amazon and my hope in these cheaper screens is going down. Previous one (different seller) - the adhesive was horrible, it didnt hold well what resulted later in cable damage so I had to replace it again. Now I tried a different company - this one. And I bought the glue too...however...(see -) Conclusion: +relatively cheap price +getting all you need (except glue) -lower screen quality -LOW product quality (see picture) - it looks like there is a manufacturing error in the size, it just left a bit of space = not acceptable -needs extra glue - this time I glued, however, due to the screen defect I might need to replace again - on the right side it was too narrow to add glue, and cables were loose. -seller thinks I am stupid -if the quality is not good, the absolute price might be in final the same as buying more expensive but higher quality products So all in all, just pay more for products where people are really staying behind it. At the end, it will be maybe the same price and you will lose less time.

> 3 daytaking off the old screen can take hours, especially if the glass had been shattered. It needs patience, a good hand and good eyes. Some screws near the connector are so small, if losing them, they are impossible to find. Take the smallest screws you have ever seen and make it four times smaller. It is important to really clean off the remainder glue nicely as the new screen would not fit. The adhesive is a bit sparse. It has to fit exactly. Even if the tiniest speck of old glue is there, this would not work. The repair is not easy. Fortunately there are some youtube videos which help.

> 3 dayGreat product, easy install using the YouTube video. Be careful removing the home button from your broken screen. Otherwise this was a crazy easy install for me as an amateur.
