Works exactly like its supposed to. No internet speed issues at all. I currently have 5 ports hooked up and all work flawlessly.

For what you are getting, it is better than just getting a 5 port hub!!! If you understand networks and networking; this is and amazing to find at this price!! Most people like the wireless system for all of their home networks, but (they) dont get what they loose for speed and reliability. I have almost 75 ports thoughout my house, patio, and out buildings...everywhere is getting 10/100 Mbps with no hiccups. should have bought a couple of more to have on hand for family who are tired of laggy internet speeds, and sluggish printing

Kind of surprised that the 8 ports includes the port that takes the cable from the router. Other than that, works fine.
