> 24 hourGot it, scanned the qr code on my Android phone to get the app, then on the outlet to add it to my controls in the app. Plugged it in, and it worked right away. I use it right at the limit of its rating to power an oil filled space heater in my home office. The app lets me start the heater about 30 min before I start my work day. It also tuns it off for me after the day is over. This unit even has a button on the side to run the switch manually. My first smart home gizmo and Im loving it so far.

> 24 hourBought this for my sons nursery because the plug for his lamp was in an area that was hard to reach and this plug makes it short easy to turn the light out just by using my voice with the echo dot. You can also control the light with the Tapo app as well which is super easy to use too! Great value

> 24 hourEasy to install, works with iPhone app. Can’t get it to work with Alexa- but the app works great. Wonderful if you have a plug that you can’t get to easy and you want to turn items on and off easily. Recommended

> 24 hourI have many of these smart devices. This one was on sale. So I purchased two of them. For some reason they were shipped a few days apart. Of course you have to install their app to intergrate it with Alexa. You cant install the device on their app unless you give them LOCATION permission. You cant skip it. NOTHING. WHY WHY do these companies think they need to track your location. Read the privacy policy. Most likely to sell your data to a 3rd party. Plus the company is in China. I went ahead and installed the device but then went into the app permission afterwards and removed the location permission. The second deivce arrived. I went to install it. Turned on the app. Again, first thing it says. You must give location permission. No way around it. I uninstalled the app and returned the devices. Paid for a few extra dollars for the Amazon brand that you dont have to allow location tracking. There is absolutely no reason why they need your location!

> 24 hourWe had a recent power failure. Every single smart device in my home successfully came back online on its own. All except this device. I have lost all patience with “smart” devices that go offline and are a royal pain to get back online. I shouldn’t have to do a factory reset and then re-pair the device. I’ll simply switch brands.
