> 3 dayLocks in place for various lengths. End cap screws on firmly. It is not waterproof but it will keep light rain off of the contents. It can be made more water resistant by taping the expansion joint and end cap with tape. Good product for the price. I would buy it again.

> 3 dayGreat for the price, I like that it expands and contracts to fit different sizes without taking up so much space. It feels sturdy, but I worry a little bit about the junction between the two halves of the tube if it were to get exposed to rain. It can probably be reinforced with a piece of tape while traveling though. One thing I figured out that I thought might be worth mentioning for other people - the label at the top is approximately a 2.9 circle, if you want to print one out with your info on it.

Greater than one weekI got this to securely hold posters purchased at San Diego Comic-Con and it did the job perfectly. Easy to open, but no fear of it opening on its on, and I have the option to expand it for those extra wide posters. The only downside is that the strap is not long enough to have this as a crossbody item, so it has to be held on the shoulder.

> 3 dayI got this item to store my husband and I specs for our newly built home. It was perfect. I was able to expand to the size of our spec. I simple love it. It was perfect and durable. I love the secure scew on top to tighten it.

> 3 dayThe tube seems high quality, besides the fact that the strap cannot be used as a cross body when the tube is extended. When the tube is extended to 37 inches and the strap is extended as far as it can be, it doesnt fit and I can only carry it by one shoulder.
