If properly packed (I can fit 4-5 days worth of clothes and a laptop) it still fits in the personal item measurements with the budget airlines. Every time I fly, I use this bag.

It has the ideal size, very big and comfortable. Has a lots of pockets and the principal is almost as big as a carry on size

Ive had this back pack for about a year now and have taken it with me on over 10 trips and have avoided paying carry on fees every single time. Even on increasingly strict Frontier Airlines, this bag has fit everything I have needed and still qualified as a free personal item. I highly reccomend getting this bag for any traveler. It has more than paid for its self as I have save $40 (cost of carry on if not included in airfare) in fees on over 10 trips- thats $400 in savings by having this bag.

As the title says. Fits my DDJ SB3 controller perfectly with plenty of room for clothes, cables, laptop, ect. If you travel, like I do, with only a backpack and no carry on this bag is perfect. It is very bulky when I stuff everything inside, but still fits under the airline seat. I have flown Spirit about 4 times with this bag and no complaints from the Spirit staff (because its a backpack and fits under the seat). My main gripe with the bag is its straps. The straps are padded but the edges of the straps are not soft. If you wear a tank top (like I do) while traveling, swinging this bag off your shoulder to the ground can cause some irritation with the friction. My older AVP backpack was better padded and wouldnt have this issue when taking it off. Overall, need a big bag to fit a DJ controller? This one is perfect.

This was perfect size for personal items on spirit and didnt cut my space short. I wouldnt overstuff it though or you may have issues. Many convenient compartments, easy to carry handles and straps, and most of all it is really good quality! I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this bag really is. I wanted something I could keep using on vacations and not break the bank and this is it. I have no complaints whatsoever -this is perfect for traveling cheap airlines and maximizing that space. Brought 6 days worth of clothing, toiletries, medicine, extra shoes, etc. Flying Spirit? This is your luggage

We loved being able to put a change of clothes and all of our toiletries. We used it going to Asia! Definitely recommend!

I wasnt sure I would like it but I use it all the time. Its very sturdy and keeps the rectangle shape even if not full. The zippers and seams are all strong and there is plenty of room. I especially love the large wet compartment. I throw my swimming clothes and towel in there all the time.
