> 3 dayI have been using combination locks for my travels and find that on average I lose one lock per travel. Combination locks are either easier to break and/or not as well constructed as key locks. These Forge locks are well constructed and provide better security than may be expected of most luggage locks that are in the market. I recently traveled with these and all four performed as well as expected. None gave way and I lost none. Its heartening to know that these Forge locks come with lifetime warranty that covers not just manufacturing defects but also damage by baggage handlers and the TSA. The only disconcerting issue is that these locks are manufactured in batches of 1000 to 2000 locks; i.e., locks in each batch come with identical keys. Someone who bought a lock from the same batch will have a key that will unlock my locks as well. The consoling side of this is that someone who wishes to unlock my locks would have to have multiple different keys since Forge manufactures and sells more than one batch of these locks. Overall, I am very pleased with these locks. I have had luggage locks from other manufacturers before but these are certainly better constructed and I expect them to last a lifetime.

Greater than one weekThese locks work well, and having numerous copies of a single key that opens all of the locks on my and my wifes various pieces of luggage was a great convenience. We could each carry just one key and be each others backup in case of loss, and we could salt extra copies in various places as well. I bought two packs and, as responses to other reviewers indicated, both packs worked with the same key. I would not worry about this being insecure. If someone has one of the key variants for these locks and it happens to match your locks, that person is obviously intent on getting into luggage and would be able to do so one way or another even if the keys were all different. It is trivially easy to break into zipper closures or pry open small travel locks by force. Locks like these are only to deter a casual thief and encourage him or her to mess with some other bag that is even less protected. Any luggage other than James Bonds will never be safe from a serious thief.

> 3 dayThey break easily, three have broke already to be exact. During my Christmas travels TSA couldnt open them and I had to go back through security to give them my key. I dont recommend them but all TSA locks Ive tried have been low quality junk.
