Tulip Etimo Rose Crochet Hook, 8/5mm

my new favorite hook. LOVE IT. My speed increased using this hook, buy you wont be sorry.

I have pretty bad arthritis in my wrist and can easily extend my crochet session with this hook (from like 10 minutes to 30minutes) compared to other basic crochet hooks. Super comfy and glides nicely.

I am a relatively new crocheter and started with the cheapest hook set because I wasn’t sure if this was a hobby I’d stick with. After a year long learning curve and realizing I *love* to crochet, I thought I’d see what the hype was about the Tulip hooks. The hype is real! This hook makes crocheting so much more comfortable and the movements are smooth as butter. I definitely recommend.

Smooth

I decided recently to branch out and try some different hooks. I began crocheting a few years ago and started out with Boye hooks, and then I moved onto Clover. I do really like the Clover hooks (some Soft Touch and some Amour), but I really like this Tulip, as well. It glides through the yarn effortlessly. It may even glide slightly more smoothly than the Clover Soft Touch I have been using in the same size. I like the slight bump that my thumb rests against while working (I use knife grip), and the Tulip is slightly longer than the Clover, which is kind of nice. I am currently working on a mosaic crochet project with Paintbox Cotton Aran yarn, and I have enjoyed working with this particular hook--so much so that I ordered another one in another size. The Pepto Bismol pink is not my favorite, but that is only a minor personal aesthetic preference. It is a quality hook that I would certainly recommend to others, especially if you have a preference for hybrid hooks.

Never disappointed by these hooks

Smooth hook that allows for hours of comfortable hooking. The round head slides easily in and out of acrylic and acrylic yarn blends without snagging or catching.

Beautifully smooth hook. Its a joy to use and the handle is extremely comfortable in the hand, allowing many hours of happy crochet.

The grip makes it very easy to use for a long period of time. Some of my previous crochet hooks have sheared off where the metal hook meets the plastic grip. Time will tell if this one does too.

Easy to handle. Almost no cleaning needed
