> 3 dayWonderful bright colors! We needed to presoak our shirts and tea towels before dying, because otherwise the dye did not penetrate well and we wound up using a lot more dye without getting very good results. When the shirts and towels were presoaked and damp prior to dying, the results were fantastic - still bright, but spread more evenly and required a lot less dye. I like how this kit makes it not messy at all to mix the dye, although theres really no help for how messy things get when you start letting kids use squirt bottles (we did our projects outside, no regrets there).

> 3 dayGreat product! Easy to use and the colors set nicely! It also had a great pamphlet with dying techniques that was very helpful! The colors set a little more brightly than I thought they would but maybe I needed to let them set longer or add less water. Overall, I am very happy with this product and would buy it again!

> 3 dayBest value (I paid $12) for a Tulip kit. The key is the extra dye packets which double your dye volume. Beware of the party kits which seem like a good deal but bottles are half the size (just 2 oz) and there are no extra dye packets.

> 3 dayI really love how our shirts turned out. The colors are so vibrant! We decided to wash them about 48 hours later, it’s suggested at least 24 hours… not sure if it made a difference though. I will definitely be purchasing from this company in the future!

> 3 dayI really like this set but my package has a dirty bottle that turned my fingers green. No other bottles were dirty.

Greater than one weekThis kit worked great and produced nice bright colors on our shirts. Rubber bands, gloves, and design ideas are included. I would suggest getting different dying instructions. Just google how to tie dye. These were not as clear, and since I had not tie dyed since I was a kid, I failed to wet our shirts first. It was a bit messy. However, the kit worked great in the end, and you even get a second set of dyes for a second round of tie dying!

> 3 dayThese are fun little kits, but I purchased 2 and at least half of the rubber bands in one set snapped before I could put them on the shirts.

> 3 dayGlad we did them outside because the bottles leak. We were able to do 5 shirts, two adults, one kid be two toddler, with the bottles that had powder in them. No way could it do 30 projects even with the refill.
