> 3 dayI was able to tie die on a girls weekend trip. It was cold outside so we were unable to air dry in the sun. The shirts came out great. However, it should be noted that the container is like a take out foood container so scrunching a shirt inside could damage your pattern by mixing dye colors if they touch. It was difficult to fit some shirts in without ruining the design

> 3 dayUsed this kit with my 11 and 9 year old children and it worked really well. If you have never tie dyed, make sure you read the entire set of instructions and watch some YouTube videos For just general tie dye techniques. If you do your research, you can get some really good results. Tips- -Use a dollar store plastic tablecloth to protect your work surface. -Work on a rack of some sort inside a container like an aluminum cake pan or shallow plastic tub. -Wash ANYTHING you tie dye first to remove chemicals from the manufacturing process that can prevent color from adhering to the fabric. -Work on wet 100% cotton clothing. I work right out of the washer. -Make sure your clothing is WET when you microwave. Cons- -Use your own gloves because these aren’t the greatest. - I used my own rubber bands, too. - Anything larger than an adult XL might be difficult to fit in the container. You can still do larger garments, you’ll just want to seal them in a ziplock and let sit for at least 8 hours in a warm place.

> 3 dayMy kids and I loved this so much we just keep buying more. The fact that it has plastic containers makes it easy and less messy and using the microwave to set the dye is genius.

> 3 dayI bought this for the quick use rather than waiting a day or letting it soak in vinegar as with other sets. I was skeptical, but happily surprised. We did 4 kids shirts and couldve done more items, but just didnt have more that we wanted to do. Buy extra rubber bands if youre doing quite a bit of items. Theres not that many and also you cant reuse all of them if you need to cut them (especially if youve put them on super tight.) It comes with a little guide about rubber band styles and they worked pretty well. The bottles were easy to use and squeeze even for the 3 year old. We did realize on the first one that we hadnt inspected it close enough and some of the wrapped up areas didnt get dye. Shirt still cmae out cute, but it didnt quite highlight the rubber banded areas the way we wanted. WE were less conservative with the color on the other shirts and they came out great. Id say the only hard part of doing multiple items on the same day is after microwaving they need to sit in the closed container ( you get two) for about 15 minutes. Just keep this in mind for planning purposes if youre planning on doing this as a group or have little ones with short attention spans. I think you could save the dye and use it again the next day, maybe even a few days later, but Im not quite sure how long it would last as we didnt try to save it and use it again. Id definitely buy this again.

> 3 dayI wanted to try to tie dye so my husband bought me this kit. It was easy to use. I have never tie dyed before but was able to make 3 crop tops. I just bought small boy-sized cotton tees and cut them and then dyed them. I thought they turned out pretty nice. Just make sure you wear the gloves and do this in an area where you can clean up easily because it is pretty messy.

> 3 daySo easy to use. My four year old daughter loved making shirts and had no problem doing it with minimal assistance. Also great that the containers are reusable.

> 3 dayThis was our first time doing tie dye, and it was very successful! Our 2 kids ages 6&7 helped with their shirts and they loved it. We used every drop of color from every bottle and did 4 adult shirts, 6 small kids shirts, and 2 pairs of kids shorts. The colors are so vibrant! We went by the directions and got them wet, wrung out well, tied (we used zip ties and rubber bands). Then microwaved each item in a container, waited 20 minutes to cool, rinsed with cold water until water was clear, then filled other sink with hot tap water and a drop of tide and hand washed for a couple minutes and rinsed well with hot. Wrung out very well and hanged to air dry. I changed out hot water with most individual items since I was only filling sink 1/3 up. Also, since we dyed them all at the same time, I just kept them all on their racks until I could microwave the next item, which was at most a couple hours and used a spray bottle to spray a little water on it before microwaving to make sure it didn’t scorch.

> 3 dayEven after following instructions the dye almost fully washed out. Almost pastel colors.
