Tupperware Small 1 Quart Colander with Handle in Apple

Just perfect

One of the handiest utensils in my kitchen.

I had this same one for 25 then when it melted, Ithought Id try something different (a collapsible one), but I couldnt do without this. It fits atop the 2-cup and 4-cup pyrex measuring cups so I use it to strain canned beans or yogurt, and reserve the liquid.

Our first Tupperware 1-quart colander worked perfectly for several decades, until I used it to strain hot deep fat fry oil (yellow colander). The new replacement Tupperware colander works fine for boiling hot water, and all cold liquids--just dont put hot deepfry oils through it. This colander fits onto a 1-quart Pyrex measuring cup beautifully!! Thanks Tupperware! Good job Amazon!

Its not as good as the really old one i had which was more sturdy but it still feels a lot more quality than the typical thing. Very useful everyone should have one. I think the 1 quart is probably slightly more useful but the 2 is bigger so i suppose it balances out somehow
