Tupperware Small 1 Quart Colander with Handle in Apple

Our first Tupperware 1-quart colander worked perfectly for several decades, until I used it to strain hot deep fat fry oil (yellow colander). The new replacement Tupperware colander works fine for boiling hot water, and all cold liquids--just dont put hot deepfry oils through it. This colander fits onto a 1-quart Pyrex measuring cup beautifully!! Thanks Tupperware! Good job Amazon!

When cooking my vegetables!

Could not be more pleased to find a replacement for my old one which lasted me so many years I can’t remember how long I had it. Live this strainer more than any I have ever had.

My daughter wanted one like mine which I could not find in the Tupperware catalog. So I checked on Amazon and found this….perfect!

I own an older 1 qt Tupperware strainer in yellow and needed another one of the same size. I believe the one I already own is 40+ years old. I ordered this one in lime green. The design is identical in size and shape. The differences are: (1) the new one is lighter which isnt surprising and I doubt the materials are the same now as 40 years ago, and (2) the new one is shiny on the inside surface and matte on the outside versus the old design being shiny inside and out. Im pleased that I was able to find an identical strainer after 40 years. I use different strainers for different use cases and this design is perfect for why I need it.

It was ordered to replace a similar one that we had used for more than 30 years !
