> 24 hourUbiquiti AP is known to have lots of unresolved connectivity issues relating Apple products, specially Ipads and Iphones. Case and point, the Guest AP authentic page will not work with Ipads and Iphones. The tech support is only through text messages and its not very helpful. Dont take my word for it just Google this issue online and you will see tones of complains from installers. I gave 3 stars because everything else works fine. --Im a 25 year+ IT engineer.

> 24 hourI am currently replacing all of my Cisco APs with these. I am getting better coverage with these at 120$ a pop vs 1000$. Setup and configuration is easier to boot. The free controller software is easy to use and provides much better info than my 5508. The real only downside that I can find is that the second port is bridge only, so it cant be configured. Ill still be a Cisco shop for all other L2, but when I can deploy 9 of these for the price of one Cisco AP there is no other answer. The area I deployed the first batch has better coverage and redundancy for less than the price of one Cisco AP.

> 24 hourBeing a seasoned network engineer - found it extremely complex to configure. Too many dependency on sub components and very rigid out of the box requirement i.e. hard coded network ranges 192.168.x.x ; In an enterprise environment - almost not installable considering # of hours it take to get it going. Called customer support - they refused to talk in person - almost everything through chat - it was night marish experience haggling over basics of OSI stack functioning. Finally had to return the whole batch. The hardware quality otherwise was very good - it is their software which needs serious work.

> 24 hourI have been installing Ubiquiti Products professionally for years. and have only had 1 go bad in all of my years. I have had more failures with Cisco and Meraki than I have ever had with Ubiquiti. In our area the temperature will range 30 to 40 degrees during the day and night. Winter is below freezing and summer is above 100. They are quality products and will hold up.

> 24 hourMounted quick and super east setup. I placed 8 of these to cover a 2 story 10k sqrft office and they worked flawlessly. The 5 pack came with all mounts and screws. If does not come with POE injectors.

> 24 hourEasy to set up. Plenty of instructions online for help. Wow, what a deal for enterprise access points. I deployed 10 of these across our campus. Had them all configured/provisioned in under an hour. Going to replace the rest of our network soon with these awesome APs.

> 24 hourThese do not come with appropriate hardware to use. You will need to buy additional POE injectors or switch. All the other Unifi APs will come with all necessary hardware.. Any money you save by buying the 5 pack is gone once you buy the rest of the equipment needed for these to be used at all

> 24 hourWhile this isn’t for the untechnical, they are fantastic. I use them in commercial and residential installs.
