Ubiquiti Unifi Ap-AC Pro - Wireless Access Point - 802.11 B/A/G/n/AC (UAPACPRO5US)

As thousands know, this is a great WiFi access point. I needed to install WiFi in an old building constructed of masonry with expanded steel lath and plaster walls and steel and concrete floors. No other wireless solution had worked well for mobile devices. It has taken 6 of these access points, but the complex building now has great coverage and services lots of mobile device users simultaneously. We will continue to monitor and add access points as necessary to handle the load. I liked this so much I installed it at my home.

I did a lot of research on the UniFi products before I installed them. I was looking for an easy system to wire my spread out house. By using this style of network, you do not slow down your internet speeds (as you would with extenders). Using category 6 network cable, I only needed to run one cable to each unit (power and internet came through). These can also be placed outdoors.

Use these all the time, they are great access points. They do require a controller so dont purchase unless you know what you are doing.

You can deploy this with ease, installing the controller on your MAC or Windows, or purchase a Ubiquiti Cloudkey that runs linux and that will be your controller. Its so simple and way less expensive than other enterprise grade WAPs, and the programming is simple and easy to use.
