> 3 dayInstallation is just plug & play, but I would not recommend it for gaming. This adapter throttles the internet speed down to 25% of my ISPs download speed according to TestMy.net. I have two PCs both connected to my router via ethernet (hard wired). The PC not using this adapter measures 138 Mbps and the speed using this Ethernet-to-USB adapter measures 32 Mbps. I expected some speed reduction, but not a 75% drop! This adapter allows me to have an ethernet connection on a laptop without an ethernet port, and it seems to always work. But this is a cheap Chinese substitute for the real thing and IMO it is not worth buying.
