I ordered two sets of matryoshka nesting dolls - this set and another set - to make a gift for my wife. Due to order times I was afraid one set would not arrive in time and thus ordered both. The other set cost ~$7 (~$16 less than this set). However, the quality of this set was much, much higher than the less expensive nesting dolls. This set arrived well packaged and pre-sanded. The quality of wood used was superior to the less expensive set. In the end I decided to use this more expensive set of nesting dolls. Assuming quality is of importance to you I would shell out the extra money and buy this set. If the maker of these matryoshka nesting dolls lowered the price by a couple dollars it would be a no brainer.

Love that they come individually boxed to be repackaged after painting! Excellent quality, in this case you get what you pay for, they cost a little more than others, but the quality is totally worth it!

I gave them to my daughter and she loved them. I love the gift box.

We kept the nesting dolls but they were painted. In other words we got the wrong item.

Of course I understand that in order to make these they have to be thin, but the bottom of one broke while painting, like it was paper, so cheap wood is the next thing I can think of, otherwise pretty good.

I have bought two sets of these and they were great both times. There was one that was a little too loose, but I messaged the company about it and they explained how to expand the smaller piece a little so theyd fit better. Ill be buying more from here in the future.
