These are good for kids for doodling and maybe quick sketches but not for keeps. The paper is too flimsy

I really like these. I keep one in my backpack for travel, and it doesnt take up too much space. I appreciate that they have a hard cardboard back, which is something I look for because I like to draw while sitting on the floor and other places that dont have a flat surface. Im not an expert on sketchbooks by any means, but I like the paper quality. Its better than that of the few other sketchbooks I have.

These sketch pads are perfect for a budding young artist; the texture and weight of the paper is great for sketching with pencils, especially with color which appeals to children. These pads will be part of a granddaughters Christmas gift and the twin pack I purchased will give her many opportunities to do all the sketching she could possibly want.
