> 24 hourI acquired this ethernet dongle in hopes that I could plug my Galaxy tablets dock into the wired network instead of relying on a relatively saturated wifi network in the house. I can happily report that it works. The ethernet adapter was able to max out the speed of our broadband in Speed Test -- which means it was clearly faster than the wifi, but limited by my internet connection in my test. I didnt feel like setting up a LAN speed test (which is non-trivial to setup), so I cant say if this will actually get gigabit speeds, but I can say that it is faster than the built in wifi and also faster than 100 ethernet. Bottom line, the dongle seems to do exactly what it is supposed to, and does it without any setup hassle. And it DOES work in Android. Cant complain about any of it.

> 24 hourI wanted to wire a mini pc I got instead of going through wifi and hoped this would do it. If it required any drivers the pc did it automatically because I plugged it in and was wired with much better speeds right away so Im happy. The OS is Windows 10 if that makes any difference to it being plug and play.

> 24 hourThis excellent USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet adapter works great! It was easy to install (there is no installation) and performs as advertised! I plugged it into my Windows 10 PC and it was recognized almost instantly and just worked. I then tried it on my Lubuntu laptop and again it was recognized instantly and worked flawlessly. I got this so I could transfer files more quickly across my home network than I can with WiFi. It will work perfectly for the task. The adapter feels solid and well built and appears to have a metal case over the ethernet end of it. It feels high quality. I like that. The only issue I have with it is the cord between the USB connector and the ethernet end feels a little stiff, but I think itll eventually become more flexible with use and it isnt going to break or anything. It feels firm, but it isnt too much of a flaw. Overall a great adapter at a great price!!

> 24 hourI purchased this USB to ethernet adapter to solve a problem I was having with a four-year old Lenovo laptop. For some unknown reason, the laptop was not recognizing my primary Wi-Fi network or the hotspot from my iPhone, making it impossible to connect it with the Internet. I plugged the Fairikabe adapter into an open USB port on the laptop and connected the other end to an ethernet cable coming from a ethernet switch and, voila, the laptop was online. There are no special features to this adapter but I love it when technology works as designed without requiring an elaborate set up or configuration process.

> 24 hourI got this to use in some cases when traveling where I wanted a wired network connection to my windows based tablet that only has WiFi. This worked right out of the box and provided the expected speeds for my older 100 Mbs wired network. Updated: 05/01/23 We have a SiriusXM Internet radio by Grace Digital that we got a few years ago. We had been using it with WiFi but it has a lot of tendency to drop the WiFi connection, or to be very slow to start up. You need a separate USB to Ethernet adapter to use a wired connection. Rather than order the more expensive Grace adapter I thought Id give this one a try with the radio. It works perfectly, and since changing over to using this adapter to provide wired Ethernet to the radio it has been solid. So, if you have a Grace Digital or SiriusXM internet radio you might want to give this a try if your WiFi connection is flaky. If I needed another in the future I would order again.

> 24 hourGood looking, simple use - I primarily wanted to test out this specifically on the switch, but I did also set it up on my PC to test the speeds and it does meet the speeds listed on PC. Just a word of warning for those looking to use it on the switch however, it does seem like Nintendo has done a poor job making it capable of high speeds - I used the exact same cable, ports, everything between my PC and my switch, and when Speed Testing, on PC I hit the ~1000 mbps I am supposed to get, but on the Switch Nintendo claims it to only be ~50-75 mbps. Again, this is NOT the fault of the product, and is instead an issue with Nintendo, but for anyone who was thinking about getting this for Switch, I wanted to be clear.

> 24 hourThe USB 3.0 Ethernet Adapter was very easy to install. I only had to plug into an available USB 3.0 port and voila! I plugged in the ethernet cable and Windows 10 recognized and immediately setup. Within no time at all I was connected to the network and able to browse the internet at decent speeds.
