> 24 hourThis product is easy to use, plug into the computer or gaming device and plug the ethernet cable into the adaptor and you are connected! Much easier than bothering with the wifi and allows for more devices to be stable on my network. I am using this product with my Nintendo Switch while docked which is no longer dropping signal, allowing for consistent gameplay. It also automatically connects any docked switch this way, when friends bring their switch over they place it into the dock and are connected instantly.

> 24 hourReceived this today, and having had many ethernet to USB adaptors in the past, I liked the way that this one looked. When used with a samsung tablet, it was recognized right away and provided decent throughput speeds. Although, when connecting to a windows machine, the connection was spotty. I ran windows update and it pulled down the driver for the network adaptor, although even after that, and a reboot, the connection kept dropping. Unfortunately, I wouldnt purchase this again and would recommend looking elsewhere.

> 24 hourMain reason why I bought this to have it just 8n case if my internet is down and I need to check whats wrong. That is how you troubleshoot router modem issues. If router has issues, you would connect this to your modem via hardline cat 5. If you get internet, its a router issue. If not, then your service provider issue. I connected it to win 11 machine, and in 7 seconds I had service. No drivers needed. Windows recognized and installed drivers in no time. Both lights blinking. Very happy customer.

> 24 hourI live in a Wi-Fi saturated environment and I like to keep as many of my devices that are critical on a wired connection to cut down on interference, dropouts and slowdowns. While its too early to tell if this will minimize the amount of disconnects I get while playing Splatoon 3, I can speak to the fact that this works with the Nintendo Switch. Installation was a breeze, plugging it into an available USB port on the dock and then attach an ethernet cable into my switch. Changed the connection in the settings of the Switchs menu from Wi-Fi to wired and it was done. Conducted a self test of the network in the Switchs menu and it worked with flying colors. Speed values were a little off, but I think that has more to do with the inner workings of the Switch itself, as on a Wi-Fi connection I was seeing similar if not worse values. Nice, compact unit, fit my needs perfectly, recommended.

> 24 hourI got this to use in some cases when traveling where I wanted a wired network connection to my windows based tablet that only has WiFi. This worked right out of the box and provided the expected speeds for my older 100 Mbs wired network. Updated: 05/01/23 We have a SiriusXM Internet radio by Grace Digital that we got a few years ago. We had been using it with WiFi but it has a lot of tendency to drop the WiFi connection, or to be very slow to start up. You need a separate USB to Ethernet adapter to use a wired connection. Rather than order the more expensive Grace adapter I thought Id give this one a try with the radio. It works perfectly, and since changing over to using this adapter to provide wired Ethernet to the radio it has been solid. So, if you have a Grace Digital or SiriusXM internet radio you might want to give this a try if your WiFi connection is flaky. If I needed another in the future I would order again.

> 24 hourThis LAN adapters works perfectly for what I bought it for, which is for use with the Switch. Sometimes the Switch can be finicky in whether or not it will take a LAN adapter depending on its chipset used. In this case, it worked immediately without any issues. I was able to load up an online game of Smash Bros Ultimate without any noticeable lag. On the network test screen, it shows a wired connection of approximately ~55Mbps download and ~15Mbps upload. tl;dr: If you came here looking for a Nintendo Switch LAN adapter, buy with confidence!

> 24 hourtldr; take it out of the box, plug it into your computer/laptop and you now have a wired 1GB NIC, thats it, no fuss. --------- Im a system administrator professionally, and that means a system-admin/troubleshooter for my friends and family. One of problems on most modern laptop is that manufactures have removed the physical network interface in order to make the laptop slimmer, but a physical NIC (Network Interface Connection) is important in troubleshooting, so I got this for those times where you need to remove the WIFI signal as variable and or no WIFI is present. These are pretty simple devices, plug them into a USB port and Windows (tested on windows 10 & 11) will recognize them as a Network Interface. You dont have to install anything, you dont have to configure anything (beyond what you would configure for network access, which for 99% of home users is nothing). The adapter is recognized as a 1Gb NIC, though I didnt do a transfer test on it to confirm, I have no reason to question that. In the end it did exactly what I wanted which is a wired connection with a zero hassle.

> 24 hourI purchased this USB to ethernet adapter to solve a problem I was having with a four-year old Lenovo laptop. For some unknown reason, the laptop was not recognizing my primary Wi-Fi network or the hotspot from my iPhone, making it impossible to connect it with the Internet. I plugged the Fairikabe adapter into an open USB port on the laptop and connected the other end to an ethernet cable coming from a ethernet switch and, voila, the laptop was online. There are no special features to this adapter but I love it when technology works as designed without requiring an elaborate set up or configuration process.

> 24 hourI acquired this ethernet dongle in hopes that I could plug my Galaxy tablets dock into the wired network instead of relying on a relatively saturated wifi network in the house. I can happily report that it works. The ethernet adapter was able to max out the speed of our broadband in Speed Test -- which means it was clearly faster than the wifi, but limited by my internet connection in my test. I didnt feel like setting up a LAN speed test (which is non-trivial to setup), so I cant say if this will actually get gigabit speeds, but I can say that it is faster than the built in wifi and also faster than 100 ethernet. Bottom line, the dongle seems to do exactly what it is supposed to, and does it without any setup hassle. And it DOES work in Android. Cant complain about any of it.
