> 3 dayThis is definitely not made with FPS in mind. I really like the availability of customizable buttons at thumbs length. The program is simple, options a plenty, and 5 profiles to cover all game types after you set them up. Basic but plenty of options for polling rate, DPI, double click speed. I really like the weighted pegs you can add or remove to your liking (I use half of total). The conventional mouse buttons are wide and have satisfying feedback when pressed, DPI buttons customizable for any DPI level or new functions all together. The side buttons give a soft feedback when pressed but are reliable, easily accessible with the thumb, although I assign important binds to the buttons in the corners of the panel because its easy to lose your place with the middle buttons without a little extra attention of a direct press with thumb tip. RGB is nice enough, could use more light designs than just breathing. Scroll wheel is smooth and functions as it should. Now here is my main issue, which is entirely based on my own situation. The sides of the body have a wing for the thumb and a third groove to rest either the ring or pinky finger. However in order to rest ring finger you have no place for the pinky, and if use it for the pinky then your forced to ADS with the ring finger, resting the middle on a tiny spot between mouse buttons and beyond the scroll. This grip feels horrible in that case most definitely not whats intended. So back to having a floating pinky you are forced to squeeze against the mouse body to avoid dragging it on your pad. Back to the thumb wing, its the perfect length to feel impractical, as if you have to balance or squeeze to keep it on the mouse. I have a moderate hand size (I feel) and in order to control my movements accurately under the entire design, I have to use a claw grip leaving the cup of my hand above the curve designed to support it. And in order to maintain the grip Im stuck using my pinky and thumb to keep it against the base of my palm, this frequently fatigues the muscles of my thumb in my palm. If I was to rest my entire hand against the mouse body then Id have to use the last knuckles/pads of my fingers (farthest from nails) which isnt as practical as striking with fingertips. This is an mmo mouse and not comfortable for what I need. However thats my issue between buying it for the wrong games and my hand size. That all said its dependable, sturdy, and functions amazing for $30. Thats the takeaway, its amazing for its price. I still perform very well using it in COD:MW but thats probably because Im so used to it. Definitely worth $30 if you know what you want it for.

> 3 dayThis mouse is well worth the price. The buttons are just the right size to click with your thumb and the pressure needed to press them make them easy enough to press in tense moments while also making mistakes fairly rare. I use the back of my thumb to press the last column and this even works pretty well. The rapid fire button feels quite nice to press as well. The scroll wheel is segmented but also smooth. Minor complaints include the fact that I am not a huge fan of the sandpaper feel on the left/right buttons and on the edge. In particular, I found that my ring/pinky fingers started to feel chafed by it when first using it, though I believe use of the device quickly wore it in and I no longer get this feeling. I do also wish the thumb rest was extended a bit further out from the mouse. I do not use it that often, but it is not really wide enough to fit the entire thumb without it hanging off the edge. I love that the mouse is wireless, as I could never get used to the cord snag that occurs with wired models, though it can also be used with a wire if that is your preference. The battery life is superb. I can forget to charge it for days at a time and it will still have juice. The sleep mode activates pretty quickly after not using the mouse for a period of time and will automatically awaken after any movement/button presses and will register said input. The two DPI buttons are placed in a nice spot and there are four red lights, or the absence of light, which indicate five different profiles. These are set to 1000/2000/4000/8000/16000 by default, but you can set them to whatever your preference is. As I find any lights on my mouse/keyboard distracting, I set my preferred DPI on the lowest profile. That said, the RGB lights on the mouse are great. The thumb buttons look particularly cool when it is shining through them. If you want to show off a cool new mouse, this is the one for you. The program for this mouse is also pretty great and easy to understand. The default profile for the thumb buttons sets them to 1-0 on the number row and -/+ on the number pad. Im not sure why they decided to use the numpad rather than the number row for the last two, as I have played games which contain item slots on the latter number row keys, though they are easily remappable in the program or in-game. The program allows for importing/exporting profiles, which is necessary if using more than two. The profile switch button on the bottom can cycle between the default, which is itself remappable, and an imported profile. The program also allows the user to design macros which is very convenient for the sake of productivity. For gaming, the number row mapping already makes perfect sense for many games. Even though I do not really play MMO games, I found that being able to swap weapons in GTA and items/shouts in Skyrim with the touch of a button was quite an improvement over using the number row, which takes fingers that could be pressing other keys and has an inconveniently placed second half for the left hand to reach. Of course, you can feel free to map it to whichever buttons you want. I also personally use this for video editing and general productivity shortcuts on my PC and I can report that it is excellent for both. My left hand has to move around far less than what it used to, and overall things feel more balanced. Overall extremely pleased with my decision to purchase this mouse and recommend it to anyone who wants a versatile instrument for any of a multitude of computing needs. EDIT: I have dropped this review to four stars because of an issue with the scroll wheel. After having the mouse on for some time the scroll wheel takes two notches to start scrolling in the opposite direction (for instance, if I am scrolling down and I try to scroll up the first notch on the wheel that is scrolled up will do nothing). If I turn the mouse off and then on again it will return to normal, but will, in time, begin to act up again. It is rather minor, but is quite annoying. And I can see this being a detriment in games. I have reached out to Utechs support and have not gotten a response. I am trying again. If my issue is resolved I will return the review to five stars. EDIT: I managed to get in contact with them through the email for the gift inside the box. They were very nice and sent me a new one. While the second one was on the way, my original somehow started working again. I can only surmise that it has something to do with being kept on for a long enough period of time, rather than being turned off and on again after acting up. Anyhow, I am pleased that it has started working again and that I now have a backup in case it messes up once more, and am now raising it back to five stars!

> 3 dayalright, ive had this thing since august and have used it constantly since then so i can safely say this is an extremely good mouse for the price with the only caveat being the program that you use to manipulate the mouse functions is lacking in a few smaller, but still important, areas. the mouse itself is sturdy as a rock but nowhere near as heavy with the only physical issue being the area where you are meant to place the weights specifically that there are two rather large openings where you could lose one of the weights in (as i almost did). the buttons make a noticeable click when pressed but do not provide too much resistance but at the same time provide enough resistance that theyre not accidentally pressed. they also seem to have an incredibly long life as i have pressed them all in excess. the scroll wheel itself is, unlike my previous mouse, still functioning appropriately without any noticeable degradation either but has very little resistance to it so clicking middle mouse sometimes scrolls up or down one. the shape of the mouse is satisfying to hold and left/right/middle mouse clicks are responsive and clicky. i imagine i am going to have this mouse for a long time, barring someone intentionally taking a large hammer to it. now for the software. the program used to run the mouse (it doesnt have a proper name just Gaming Mouse Config or GMC i guess) is a solid barebones bit of work which could use more polish overall as well as options in the macro manager section. specifically, the only real detrimental piece is that all macros (and i assume any other mouse button presses) have a minimum delay of 1 milisecond between each character the mouse would generate. this is incredibly detrimental in games where you may need to type a command into a games chat bar to illicit an action but at the same time need to press other keys. the time it takes is short but still long enough to cause the macro to screw up because of receiving extra input during the typing phase and in the same action screw up whatever it is you may try to be doing at the same time. if this gets fixed, macros immediately become something that can be used at any time. the other thing that would be nice to see in the macro manager is more options for macros. an option to set the loop option to loops macro while button is held would be nice, as well as an option to insert delays into the macro itself (so to make the macro press a button, then another a set specific time afterwards), other potential options would be to allow macros to remove either the press or release part of a keypress instead of removing both, and giving macros access to more computer based functions including mouse positioning and movement and mouse buttons 4 and up. another thing that would be nice to be able to do would be to be able to change the scroll wheels color. it seems like it would be able to do so since it can hit multiple other colors as is but the users have no way of changing it to their own specified colors unlike the rest of the mouse and on that note it would be nice to be able to save user generated colors to the color palette or for the less interested user, to be able to turn the lights off entirely. all in all, this is a solid mouse with a usable GMC that could really use more work. definitely worth the price but might not be suitable for users who use macros heavily. would be 5/5 but macro issues bump it down a star. so, please please please UtechSmart look into improving the GMC (and potentially for your other mice as well) as macro use with this mouse is impractical due to the forced 1ms delay between all key presses from the mouse.

> 3 dayMouse is absolutely amazing for the price, easily beats out R.A.T. brand mice or other over priced abominations. People here say the buttons are hard to press, that is far from true. They give you just barely enough resistance to confirm with your finger that it was press, easy to use. Has rapid fire button, which can be easily configured to do anything else. You can make macros on the software you get with your package, so you have absolute freedom to control your world with this mouse. The card itself is actually a USB drive, so you can have a fancy little software with you for any computer. Lighting is fantastic, although I wish it supported hex coding. You have multiple lighting modes and colors to choose from, so dont worry about that whatsoever. Goes well with any set. Battery life is as describes, long and heavy use for three days straight (more if you happen to have a life or sleep like some kind of healthy human.) Some people here complain it dies too quickly, they most likely forget to charge it. This is not civilian battery operated mouse, so it will not last weeks with power, it already tells you this. You can use the mouse either with or without a wire, although most likely you dont want to be wired so make sure you charge it when not in use, otherwise that is your fault and not the products. DPI is customizable! Rarely any mice let you control this amazing feature, and the mouse lets you have multiple profiles (modes of saved settings.) Being able to control your DPI directly means you can achieve the perfect mouse speed for yourself, make it easy to snipe that Heavy across the map giving sandwiches to a Spy before he can come out and backstab you in 2Fort for the seventh time. (Team Fortress 2 on Steam, the game is also free) The mouse is very comfortable to grip, leaves my hand feeling well rested even in heavy use. The design is to prevent slip, something that means it gets an odd texture on top to prevent your fingers from slipping off if you swear or so on. On top of this, the mouse is also nicely designed to have enough of its own weight to prevent slipping on the mousepad The accuracy of the scanner is competitive level t technology, the only person that can use great tech for good is you. Destroy the battlefield at the same rate and pace as the best gamers in the world. (Skill not included, please play good with mouse to use it for the absolute best of its ability.) If my review did not cover everything you need to know about this mouse then Im sorry but you probably cant read. Just kidding, I will provide any answers needed for this product, this is a mouse I stand firmly with. Do not spend money in anything else, it will be a disappointment, even if you dont want to use this for MMO.

> 3 dayI now own two and I love this mouse. I’ve got one at the office on my desk and one on my rig at home for gaming. If you like an mmo mouse at all you would like this one if it fits your hand of course. I understand personal preference but this mouse is great.

Greater than one weekIm giving this a 5 star review but really its at maybe 4.5 only because the driver installation made me nervous. When you open the packaging and finally manage to open the USB (it flips out by the way, doesnt pull out but I do love the card shape and having it hold the drive software), it links to a google drive where you can download the software. My antivirus software flagged it as potential malware. A company like this could at a minimum make sure there certifications are verified so that anti-virus software doesnt flag it. I installed anyway and so far everything works great. The mouse can be super sensitive (as intended) so I personally like the sensitivity to be at 2 out of 4 bars. I like that you can control the sensitivity with a button on the mouse. All the buttons are easily programmable and the software (once installed) is easy to use. I like that you can change the light color and so far everything works well and feels really durable. Its a great mouse at a great price point. Just fix the certificate on the software please. downloading from a google drive form already feels sketchy and then having my antivirus flag it made me very uneasy.

> 3 dayI bought the wired version of this mouse in late 2016. I ran into a minor issue about three years in where I could not click the scroll wheel properly, but that problem seemed to fix itself after a short while. Today it has begun to stop working every few seconds, so I suspect its lifetime may be coming to an end for real this time. It has been a reliable and easy-to-use mouse for both MMO and FPS gaming (though it is a relatively bulky mouse for the latter, even with all the weights removed). My criticisms, having used this mouse for the better part of a decade: - The top surface of the mouse (where the hand rests) has many cracks and crevices where dead skin and oil/dirt can build up. These spots are somewhat tricky to clean and it gets kind of gross after a while. - The textured body is also difficult to clean without damaging the mouse. Rubbing alcohol seems to wipe away the black paint on the outside. - I have rather large hands. The 12 side buttons were generally easy to reach, but the bottom-most row can be awkward, particularly the 10 key in the bottom-left corner. - The 5 key feels mushier than the rest of the keys, despite me not having used it that much. It does not have much travel, and you may drop inputs if pressing it repeatedly. In contrast, the 1 key, which Ive pressed enough times to wear the paint off of, still feels responsive to press, as does every other key (very distinct clicks). - I use this mouse with 2 different computers. I was only ever able to program the mouse buttons on the first computer I plugged it into -- on the second computer, the software didnt seem able to update settings and was also sluggish. You may encounter the same issue. Overall, a very serviceable mouse I got a lot more use out of than I was expecting. Great cheaper alternative to some of the more high-end MMO mice on the market.

> 3 daySo my first impression looking at the box made me worried. It looked like a typical walmart offbrand design with bold arial font and red lettering like it was supposed to be some cool hi-tech product you could compare to Razer or Logitech. It didnt fool me in the least, and my heart sank because I depend on amount of reviews + star rating, and I know Amazon has some funny tricks when it comes to products being rated highly despite poor quality products. I opened the box, and immediately set the thing on my lap and - despite odd looks from my friend who was there - started clicking the buttons and getting a feel for them. From the get go, I was satisfied with the click feel and its responsiveness, the location of the buttons, and (most importantly) the size of the mouse. I have large hands, so Im not sure where some reviews are coming from by saying large hands arent recommended, but the mouse fit perfectly without me resorting to an uncomfortable grip. I wasnt quite convinced yet, so I plugged the puppy in and popped the CD in to install the driver (and eventually update it online). If youre a gamer, or anyone who has worked on a computer for at least a year, the software was easy to set up and understand. You should know how to unzip files, install basic programs, set your DPI, navigate basic menus, and understand basic terminology. Its not rocket science, and therefore the setup was a breeze. Its a basic program with little to question, and Ive already got it pulsating red like a black gaming setup should (in my opinion, heheh). I was worried the number pressing might be a problem for my big thumb. Its... not perfect, mainly because of my thumb, but with enough practice I have no doubt it should be as easy as any other mouse Ive had, and this is coming from a Logitech fanboy. Yes, yes, Razer is fine too, but for the price and the quality I cant deny that this is a quality mouse. The texture on the left and right click is satisfying as it allows for a good grip despite sweaty hands, and the fire button just to the left of the left click makes it an easy reach in case you want to program it as an ultimate ability in gaming (or an undo button in graphic design, for instance). Programming buttons, by the way, is very easily customizable, and with enough options to choose from Im satisfied that any need I have to satisfy can be done with this mouse. Even the DPI arrow buttons under the scroll wheel can be remapped, which is great when youre like me and like to have as many buttons mapped to your mouse as possible for ease of use. As far as the entire shape goes, its comfortable for my large hands and the thumb rest is a nice touch so youre not rubbing your mouse pad all the time. On the opposite side, theres a protrusion that allows you to rest your ring finger there so it allows you to have a stronger grip on the mouse itself, which should be an important feature in any gaming mouse. Overall, this mouse is one of the better mouses Ive had the pleasure of using. The weights came already installed and, again, as a big handed fellow, I like the heavier weight so it has some give to it. The material its made out of has a nice tactile feel so that it wont slip out of your grip, and while having color pulsating from the buttons isnt a necessary aspect to a gaming mouse, its still pretty cool. I write this review having had my heart drop with worry that this mouse wasnt going to cut it and Id have to return it like some cheap knockoff, but Im pleasantly surprised. The drivers were easy to find, and I have no doubt if I needed customer service to help out they would. I feel like I invested well into a cheap but quality product. Dont take my word for it though, if youre a gamer with a hunger to customize macros and assign functions to your mouse (or even a graphic designer who hates memorizing hotkeys) you should try it out yourself! You wont be disappointed.

> 3 dayUpon my initial browsing of this product, I was a tad worried that I was settling for one due to its cheaper price than other similar programmable mice, however I was stunned at its quality! Before even testing the mouse, I must say I found it quite ingenious and even a bit cute at how the drivers were included in such an awesome and unexpected way! They also include a direct link within to their page with an offer for an additional thank you! product, though I personally havent gotten around to that yet. The mouse itself has a great feel; compared to my Logitech G600, I actually find the size of this mouse to be much comfier as well as the locations of the grooves for the fingers (the added thumb rest is an amazing luxury). I have skinny hands that are long and lanky, and so they take up a lot of space anyways and this mouse caters to that quite well! While the weight of the mouse isnt very heavy, it still has enough to it that it wont go flying across your pad if you are gaming. The programmable buttons are also positioned in a way that is less strenuous on my thumbs to access them quickly, and I do so VERY often with the keys I have programmed them for. The scroll wheel has no right/left side button functionality, but thats hardly a deal breaker with it being a rare find nowadays to begin with. The lights are, of course, a GORGEOUS display on my station, and you can set them to only engage if a button is pressed or the mouse is moved. The program itself is also intuitive, user friendly, and quite simple to use, providing quick and easy access to all of the programmable functions for the mouse. I personally prefer to have my mouse wired straight to my computer, so I cant talk much on the battery life, but the cable is indeed of a nice, high quality fiber-wrapped material and I havent had it loop or bunch up on me very often at all! There are a few downsides, however: to switch the programmed profiles, the button for this is on the bottom of the mouse, which could be annoying to some who cant fit all of their keys onto one profile and need to switch regularly. The other downside--to me personally--is that the lights are turned on/off by a separate switch on the bottom of the mouse. This wouldnt be a downside normally, except I find the switch to be quite a tight fit, and to turn them off requires you to flick the switch to the middle between the constant and touch-based functions, though hopefully this will slowly begin to wear in. All-in-all I am SO glad to have purchased this product; I was pleasantly surprised with how WAY over-the-top the mouse surpassed my expectations! & for that I am glad, especially after having initially worried that I was going to have to shell out an absurd amount of money for the Logitech brands for life to appease my need for this type of mouse! I can firmly say that I will gladly be buying from this brand--if not this specific model--again in the future and recommending it to my friends who work/play often on their computers!!
