> 3 dayThe original mouse I received from Amazon had issues with stiff MMO buttons, and was tricky to use during game play. I got in touch of with the seller, and they were responsive and extremely helpful in resolving the issue. A replacement was quickly sent, and no issues were found. Below is my review: I have a Razer Naga Pro and used it as a baseline for a comparison. against the Venus Pro I wanted a dedicated mouse to use with my gaming laptop so I wouldnt have to keep unplugging the Naga from my PC. The build quality of the mouse is noticeably sturdier than the Naga Pro. This version has a rubberized texture on the top and sides of the mouse making it easier to control the mouse, and to press the MMO buttons on the side. 2) The mouse has an ergonomic design and has rests for the thumb and ring finger which helps alleviate hand / wrist fatigue, and assist in controlling the mouse. I have big hands and it just fits. I actually use it for work aswell. 3) The Mouse has decent glides on the bottom, there is no noticeable drag while moving the mouse and feels the same as the Razer Naga Pro. 4) Install was simple, plug n play as all things should with Win10. Installing the app was straight forward and Im able to map the mouse buttons without issue. 5) The Mouse has a visible detent (rows 1-6 & 7-12) and raised indicators on buttons 5 & 8, making it easier to know which buttons to press and which row your thumb is on. 6) DPI options are easy to set and change on the fly. Im able to use one setting for work, and easily change it for gaming without changing profiles. 7) The only issue I had was getting World of Warcraft to recognize the Fire Key (button 13). I set this button to function as the Alt key in the game to activate spells on the second action bar. After some testing, I believe the issue is within WOW recognizing the button, and not the mouse. The fire key (button 13) works in other apps, and have used it while using Excel and Notepad++ to complete functions without issue. I will have to tinker to see what I need to do to get it working in WOW. However all the other buttons work just fine, and can be easily remapped with the app. Overall I would definitely recommend the UtechSmart Venus Pro. It has a great price point and almost all the features of the Razer Naga Pro, which cost over 3 times more than cost of the Vennus Pro. The Naga is really nice, but if $150 for a mouse is too steep, give the Venus Pro a try.

> 3 dayAs a previous owner of two separate Razer mice, I am content to say that the Utech Venus is a fine alternative to the Naga. I bought two of these as a replacement for myself and my partner, and theyre working fine after about a month of owning them. Pros: + The programmable MMO side buttons are more comfortable and easier to identify without looking directly at them, due to their shape and curvature - at least compared to the Nagas less pronounced design + The adjustable weights are exactly as expected, with an overall weight that doesnt get too heavy with all of them or too heavy without any + The braided USB cable is sturdy and doesnt get frayed easily and collect dust/lint like my previous mouse + The mouse driver is fairly straightforward and mostly user-friendly. I havent had any issues in using it that other customers claim to have had + The color LED light looks great and is adjustable, meaning it isnt a distraction when playing movies on my computer + The adjustable DPI/acceleration and mouse wheel scroll speed is very handy and on-the-fly, making it less of a hassle to switch between settings if Im browsing websites vs. playing games + Comes with little coated stickers for the feet on the underside of the mouse, to prevent it from getting scratched (handy if you dont have a mousepad, or if your pad is worn out) Cons: - The underside lid for the adjustable weights is a little finicky; Im worried about breaking the mouse sometimes when trying to twist the lid loose to add/remove weights - The teflon material isnt my favorite to the touch (mostly if I accidentally slide my fingernails across it), but its far from a dealbreaker - The color LED doesnt change color automatically. When I read that it has a breathing light setting, I was under the impression that you could have the color LED both pulsate in brightness, as well as automatically rotate between colors (I wanted to have it match my keyboard); unfortunately, it only pulsates in brightness - Though the package I received the mouse in included a disposable USB drive with the driver software on it, the software is out-of-date compared to what the Utech website currently has. Not too big of a deal, considering how easy it is to get the new driver Overall, it does everything I want in a gaming mouse. I got two for the price of just one of my previous gaming mouse. Theres a little extra legwork in getting the driver going. As long as you dont handle your equipment poorly, theres no reason it should have any issues. Ill follow up if it starts to have issues like my previous mice (such as unintentional double/triple-inputs for macros or wheel clicks); I had that issue 1-2 years into owning my previous mice, so hopefully this one outlasts those!

> 3 dayI love this mouse and when I saw they offered a wireless version of their wired MMO mouse that I had been using for years, I jumped at it, thinking it would be a clone of the wired version but wireless. BUT, I was wrong. Physically it is a clone(minus the weighting) and feels great in the hand. The give you a second set of sliders and a pouch, which is a nice touch. The mouse has a nice compartment to keep the little wireless dongle handy too. Where they dropped the ball is on the software. I have no idea why they though it was a good idea to... A. Lose the ability to reprogram the DPI buttons. Now this is only has 16 keys programmable instead of 18 like the wired version. B. Lose the ability to program the buttons with keys not on the keyboard, such as MOUSE4 or MOUSE5 and other similar keys. This is possible on the wired version(and just about ANY other mouse I have ever used). C. You are now restricted to switching, ONLY with the button on the bottom of the mouse(there is no longer way to assign profile switching to a button due to the issue listed under B above) between only TWO profiles instead of FIVE like on the wired version. These are some critical options what I used in the past on the wired version and are making me think about returning it. I have no idea why they couldnt have duplicated the SAME functionality between the wired and wireless software. Im hoping they update the software soon to enable these missing functions, but Im not holding my breath. Pros Solid construction Feels great in the hand light Cons SOFTWARE Id love to give this 5 stars but because they dropped the ball on the progammability of the thing, which is a main part of the mouse, I can only give it 3 stars till the software is brought up to the level of the wire version. **EDIT** 5/4/2020 - Please stop emailing me offers of gift cards to delete my review. My review is an honest review, which is supposed to be what is posted here. If you want my review to be better, update the software with better functionality. The software hasnt been updated in over a YEAR and is still the original version released. **EDIT** 11/5/2020 - So here we are almost to 2021, and NOT ONE single update to the drivers/software for this mouse, despite the promises earlier this year(when they kept bugging me to delete my review) that things were being worked on. The drivers listed are still the same 3.0 drivers from MARCH 2019.

> 3 dayThe first thing to note here is the weight. I was using a logitech G602 before, which is a brick compared to this. It is so light that I had to put half of the weights back in to give it a good feel on the desktop. And it does. This is a very cool feature because you can make it feel like you want, physically. The buttons feel snappy and always click properly. The 12 side buttons are angled back and forth to make it easier to figure out where you are just by feel. The 12 are easy to program through their software, which is always present in the tray. You can define multiple profiles and save those profiles to disk for easy swapping. I used the DPI buttons a lot (the buttons behind the scroll wheel) because I switch between games and they always want to have their own mouse settings. The lights right next to the DPI buttons tell me where I am. And since they are configurable in the software, I can make them do whatever I want. If there is a real downside here, it is with the scrollwheel. It works as described, but I would prefer something that feels a bit more premium like one of the heavy scrollwheels that spin freely on other products. But that would also add to the overall weight of the mouse, so there is a tradeoff. The scrollwheel isnt bad. It works just as well as any other business mouse Ive used. I would just prefer it to have the freewheel option in addition to the soft click feel it gives you. (It makes no noise) Overall, I love this mouse. Im a 54 year old professional programmer and I game a lot. Ive used upwards of 50 mice in my lifetime. This is one of the best, at least in the top 5, of all the mice Ive ever used. Im looking forward to playing with the macro functions and the other button settings it has. I play a lot of RTS strategy, build-then-fight, kind of games. I think I will be able to work out all the quick keys I need in game to improve my resource gathering speed. If youve never used a mouse with a bunch of buttons like this, dont be intimidated. It is surprisingly solid and easy to use. You wont be pressing buttons on accident all the time, like you might think. As long as you arent used to holding the mouse with an iron grip (probably bad for you anyway) this is very easy to get along with.

07-06-2025Pardon my long review, Im staring to review purchased items and want to be as informative as possible. I use cap to show you sort of whats gonna follow. FIRST THINGS FIRST: 1) I come from a free Asus mouse so am no expert, but wanted something with more buttons. 2) Recently learned about the different mouse grips. I am medium hand using Claw grip so my review on Palming or Palm grip is assumptions and not from prolong or professional use. RESEARCHING A GOOD MOUSE (AMAZON, GOOGLE, AND YOUTUBE HANDS-ON REVIEWS. After countless hours reading and watching reviews Ive decided this because: 1) There was a $5 off coupon so it was $34 2) Reviewers like this more than their Logitech g600($39) although they miss the pinky trigger and dont need the fire trigger on this mouse, the grip is very pleasant. 3) Reviewes mention the Redragon M901 Perdition($35) is more awkward to hold. 4) Lots of Naga reviews saying theirs broke after a year. Im not assuming every model break, I just stumbled on too many saying so and didnt want to roll the dice. WEEK ONE PROBLEMS The lightning was acting weird but uTech was kind enough to sent another. Also I didnt mentioned this to them because they already sent a replacement but the left-click started squeaking randomly so it sounded like click click, click click, squeak squeak. Take in mind that I game almost daily so I threw every game I had at it but it shouldnt start sounding like it needs oil already, should it? PERFORMANCE Noise: The clicks are much louder(Maybe 40%) than my free mouse but at least makes a satisfying click. Productivity: I understand this is advertised as mmo gaming mouse but all the buttons are mighty useful as my daily driver and productivity was my main reason, gaming second. Mmo: I gotta be honest I dont play a lot of MMO atm but might update on that another time. Rts: I play a lot of rts and the thumb buttons helps a lot. Still testing... Fps: Most of my games are shooters and this is definitely not for them! The thumb buttons can get confusing so I only use 3 at the moment. For shooters, Im leaning towards a 2-thumb optical that is smaller and maybe lighter that has a good laser since lifting and repositioning is necessary (This mouse is quite heavy without the weights and being fat doesnt help so it probably adds delay that you dont want in a competitive setting). PROS +Very nice texture covering the mouse but wish the middle also had it. +Customer support responds quickly within a day CONS -I can barely reach the fire button and reaching for it is painful. I have to lift my hand to reach it comfortably. -Since I use Claw grip my thumb always rests with the thumb rest provided by the mouse so for quick access I use the first 2 bottom row buttons (1 & 4) for primary actions, 2 mid row for secondary (2, 5), etc...the 7-10 are probably gonna distract you in gaming unless you use it as intended, for mmo gaming. -Random left-click squeaks questions durability CONCLUSION I beleave the mouse was made for either medium hand palm grip or large hand claw grip to be able to reach all buttons comfortably without having to lift your hand. Despite all the CONS and what others might see as small PROS, I am enjoying the mouse! The noise was not part of the reason I deducted a star, just the CONS. REGRETS Wish I found out about the HAVIT MMO mouse ($28). Consider that while picking productivity or mmo mouse too!

> 3 dayHave a Nostromo n52 GamePad and was wanting more keys so was contemplating getting a Razer Tartarus. Was talking with an in-game friend, Candy Spankwhip, and s/he suggested getting this particular mouse. Okay. Looked it over, read some reviews, and is comparable to Logitechs warranty, so bought it. Am still training the thumb to do its thing. So far am impressed, though the button pushing is not light - but that may change with use. Am still trying to get used to the mouse, and am tempting to try a non-gaming profile to make the trigger/fire button into a Back button for when browsing. Will say the thumb is spoiled from a Logitech G402 mouse as the thumb rest was more comfortable. Yet, this UTechSmarts thumb rest sets under the numbers and suits its purpose. Wished maybe it flared out more to the side. But I think it is more of getting used to a newer mouse. I have medium/large hands with a missing right ring finger, and I have no issues using this UTechSmart mouse as all. Is quite comfortable, and am getting used to the textured surface which does help when the pressure is on! Like had gotten a Skyscale in Guild Wars 2, and took a rift puzzle that had me flying over a cliff, around mobs, over terrain, swooping to and fro, have fire button set to evade for fast leaps forward, and I was at the point of pressing both finger buttons down to keep forward and was under pressure trying to dive (side 4) and rise (side 1) and was still getting used to this. Ran right small into a wall, but recovered. This mouse is FANTASTIC! - had not fared as well with the Logitech mouse that I paid more for. Changed the glow light to orange, and most of the buttons share the same coloration, except the DPI button, its red. No way of changing its color. That is about all I can complain about the mouse. Pulled out all but two weights. Can lift the mouse with thumb over button and pinky finger well, over the oval Leatherman mouse pad am using. The software is quite easy to set up and use. Although I would *strongly* suggest downloading the latest software/drivers package and forget the mini-CD. As had installed the software from the mini-CD first, then upgraded, and found some files could not be over-written. So had to boot to safe mode (Windows 7 x64) to remove the files, then reinstalled in Safe Mode. Booted back up normally and have been using the mouse effortlessly since. Can change mouse setting on the fly, then apply, and close the app. Far more easier than the Nostromo n52 software. Although am still considering getting a Razor Tartarus V2 for the extra row of buttons. For now though, I have this fabulous mouse and theres no rushed to get the Razer. Dont hesitate. For $30 you cannot go wrong!

> 3 dayAs much as I diligently read product reviews on items before I buy, I hate writing product reviews. If the product comes as described, works and i like it ill just use it and keep it moving. However, this mouse is an exception as its quality needs to be told and read by the masses who are considering buying this as I was. First off as a gamer, raider and MMO head I like to minimize the amount of clicking as much as possible with spells and skills so I keybind avidly. I for years swore by my Razer molten edition Naga mouse and had no issues with it. It was a damn good mouse, the many buttons on the side made keybinds for casting a breeze. The DPi was great and visually it just looked so bawse with its cool molten pulsations. But after years with it and a newly built rig now i just wanted something different. As a Naga user i figured what else would beat this great mouse in looks and performance other then a newer edition Naga...then i saw the pricing and remembered how ridiculously overpriced Razer was. I thought about logitiech but again i do care about aesthetics too and most of their MMO mice were not too pleasing visually..so I was at a lost i thought. But after searching around and looking up reviews i found out about this mouse from some company I never really heard of and figured with the reviews and videos it must be somewhat decent. The price was too good and almost laughably low but it was low enough not to at least try out since amazon has a great return policy. In my mind all i thought was this might be some garbage mouse being so cheap like the many many other cheapo mice out here for sale but ill just have to see. And man am i so glad i tried it out! This mouse has an all over grippy texture which help it sticks to the hand well and is easy to lift. To compare the feel its like a rubberized surface with grit. The 12 angled side button feel great and are easy to distinguish from one another. The Dpi can get up to 16400 which is crazy high. i only use about 4000-8000which is what most might use tbut it can be changed on the fly with the up or down arrows on the mouse or in its synapse. This thing even has removable weights that can be taken out to lighten or left in heft the mouse. Oh and of course the LEDs, these are some nice LEDs. Nothing too fancy just the wheel, the logo on the back, arrows on the front and buttons but they can be set to any color you want in the mouses synapse. The brathing effect can be speed up or slowed or turned off too. There is also a thumb rest, which is mmmm a little narrow but its still good then none at all but the ring finger rest feels so comfortable and ergonomic. All in all this mouse is FREAKING AMAZING, and again, I was a dedicated Razer Naga user for years. This mouse literally has every feature the current Razer Naga has right down to its grip, high customization of mouse specs with profiles for Dpi, keybinds and LED choices. The only difference is this mouse has weights that can be changed out, Razer Naga for some reason doesnt have this yet. The LEDs in the individual numbers buttons, wheel and logo on the Razer can be changed to mix up the looks but thats kind of a small victory considering the prices are so vastly different. In conclusion, theres absolutely NO reason any gamer who keybinds shouldnt want this mouse. It goes toe to toe with the the best MMO mice out there and the Naga in every way.The bonus feature of weights and its super low price point trumps Razer easily. If you game, BUY THIS MOUSE. If you ever used a mainstream gaming mouse but want something new and better with all the features and looks that you care about thats also under 100$ then BUY THIS MOUSE. If you think higher price = better then please, buy this mouse...because once in hand youll see how its changed your experience. Then slap yourself for ever thinking extra money ment a better mouse. With all the extra cash you saved from not defaulting to Razer you could easily get a nice XL mouse pad, a pair of decent headphones. Possibly even A few good games off steam or hell maybe even order a pizza with wings and a case of monster because you made a damn good buy thats waay below what anyone else is selling mice of this level at and that in it self is worth celebrating. Again i hate writing reviews, I am a word of mouth type of guy if i like something ill tell my friends but 5 stars alone was not enough to get across how awesome this mouse is. i as a gamer had to let other gamers know that this option exist. its a wordy as hell review i know but its so worth the buy.

> 3 dayIve had THREE Razer products fail me within about a year of purchase, so I vowed to never buy another Razer product again. When it came time to buy a new mmo mouse, I knew I wanted it to be wireless as I was sick and tired of my braided mouse cables getting caught on everything. Also because I had heard that wireless tech has gotten much better over time and, for the most part, you no longer have to worry about new wireless mice being laggy or losing connectivity like back in the day. The difference between wired and wireless mice, at least to me, has become indistinguishable. Unfortunately, love or hate Razer, they were the only kids on the block with a wireless mmo mouse for a VERY long time. NO ONE else was doing it. NO ONE. But I was not about to pay close to $200 for shoddy, overpriced Razer junk. Instead, I waited patiently for some other company to come along and challenge Razer. Years went by. Decades. Millennia. Finally, UtechSmart came to my rescue. Ive been using this mouse for about 4 months now and am honestly very surprised at how much I enjoy it. Chinese brands have really been upping their game lately, at least from my experience. This mouse has a lot going for it. On the bottom theres a switch for On (Without Lighting), Off, and a second On option (With Lighting). When you stop using it for a bit, the lighting turns off and it goes to sleep to conserve battery, so you dont have to worry if you forget to turn it off. When the mouse detects movement, the lighting turns back on. If you dont use it too often, you can leave it there for days upon days (maybe even weeks) without having to charge it again. To charge it, just plug any ol USB-C cable to the front and youre set. The lighting turns white and flashes, or breathes, on and off to show that its connected and charging, which could be annoying if youre trying to sleep. The software appears basic, but it does everything I need it to, without any fluff. You dont need to create an account or any of that nonsense. You can change lighting color, effect, brightness, DPI (there are 5 speed settings), record macros and map all buttons (including the left and mouse clickers) to something else, with the exception of the two DPI adjustment buttons, which is unfortunate, but no huge loss for me, personally. In terms of size, weight and feel, Id say its definitely a wider mouse than most. Its lighter than youd expect, though. If you own a Logitech G600, its a bit wider in comparison. It also seems to be ever-so-slightly lighter, though that may just be because its larger so the weight is more spread out. Beneath the bottom row of the 12 side buttons, it flares out so you can rest your thumb; a feature I didnt think I needed, but that I actually find myself using more and more. The texture of the mouse is rough, as opposed the usual smooth, like most mice. Whether thats a good or a bad thing it up to you. It does seem to help with making all those greasy, oily, cheeto-dust stains not so obvious. Finally, one of my biggest gripes with a lot of mice is how hard it is to actuate the middle mouse button. On this one, it feels easier (and sounds softer) to press than a lot of other mice Ive tried. I do wish it were even easier, though. All in all, Im very happy that UtechSmart made this mouse and HIGHLY recommend it, especially since it looks like, at the time of writing this review, its the only wireless 12-button mouse on Amazon. I hope they consider making a newer edition with even MORE buttons. Maybe a 3rd clicker next to the right clicker, similar to the Logitech G600, and an additional button next to the left clicker. You can never have enough buttons! MORE BUTTONS!!!

> 3 dayEDIT: Its been a month and a half since my initial review, and I will say that my complaint about the 4,5,6 line of buttons being unpressable/hard to press is no longer an issue! After regular use, they fell in line and became very good buttons. The whole keypad is wonderful to use now, I am happy to report! Ive been playing around with this mouse enough and liked it enough that I ordered two more as replacements for when this one eventually kicks the bucket. Its very responsive, easy to configure on the software, though the wording can be a bit hard to understand so bear with it. One of the biggest things that stood out to me instantly is that while the website was slow to load to get the install file for the software, once I had it running, the software was perfect. Light, quick, runs flawlessly, doesnt freeze, lag, or eff with the rest of my system (looking at you, Corsair ICUE). You can configure scrolling speed with the software itself versus having to find it in Windows mouse config, configure the light colors and how fast you want them to pulse. RBG-wise its not as fancy as a Corsair or Razer, but Im more than happy to sacrifice that to only pay $30 and still get high performance. DPI is perfect and FULLY configurable (with sliders, change from 9800 to 9900 DPI if you want to, or go to 14800 from 16500), click performance wasnt as slow as someone else mentioned on here, at least not that I noticed. Perhaps it was fixed with newer models. EDIT: This section is no longer relevant after a month and a half of use, but I will leave it for historys sake: ((My only possibly big complaint that lines up with another review is the buttons on the 4,5,6 line. All the rest of my buttons are great, but just those three are quite stiff and difficult to press. The others feel great, click great, and respond great, so perhaps I could just move abilities around in gaming, but I used to use 4,5,6 a lot on my old mouse (a Corsair) so it will be sad to have to change that.)) I will see if they wear down in time, perhaps theyll get better to press with heavy use. If you have large hands, as well, I cant see this mouse working well for you. Look at a mouse with adjustable side buttons like a Corsair Scimitar (good mice but expensive and you gotta deal with the BS that is ICUE, but Ill say they were solid overall)

> 3 dayIm giving this a 5 star review but really its at maybe 4.5 only because the driver installation made me nervous. When you open the packaging and finally manage to open the USB (it flips out by the way, doesnt pull out but I do love the card shape and having it hold the drive software), it links to a google drive where you can download the software. My antivirus software flagged it as potential malware. A company like this could at a minimum make sure there certifications are verified so that anti-virus software doesnt flag it. I installed anyway and so far everything works great. The mouse can be super sensitive (as intended) so I personally like the sensitivity to be at 2 out of 4 bars. I like that you can control the sensitivity with a button on the mouse. All the buttons are easily programmable and the software (once installed) is easy to use. I like that you can change the light color and so far everything works well and feels really durable. Its a great mouse at a great price point. Just fix the certificate on the software please. downloading from a google drive form already feels sketchy and then having my antivirus flag it made me very uneasy.
