> 3 dayIt was our first time traveling on a plane with kids. My only drawback is that they don’t have wheels! I wish I would’ve known they made them with wheels before purchasing these. My husband and I walked into the airport like a bunch of pack mules with these on our backs. It was pretty difficult to carry along with our other luggage and children. They are durable and fold up into the pouch for storage which was good. We also added extra stuff in the bag too like pillows & lifejackets.

> 3 dayWe were flying and wanted a bag to take our infant car seat. On the way to our destination, we gate checked it rather than formally checking the entire car seat. While moving from gate to gate, it was really awkward to hold and carry for that long walk. However, it was nice to know that it didnt get dirt and grime all over it during the flight. On our way back, we formally checked it, but I wrapped it in those air pocket bags that come in many amazon packages. I was nervous that my very expensive car seat would get ruined. I was talking to the Delta person at the desk and they said car seats are placed in a plastic tub while on the conveyor and since they are odd shaped (compared to a rectangle suitcase that can be stacked), they are put in a special/separate place in the cargo area in the plane. On my next flight, I will definitely formally check the car seat again, but will probably still wrap it to ease my mind. All in all, the bag was nice to place our carseat in. I like that there is a big white box on it to write your name in big letters. The velcro piece did not stay shut/attached when I picked up the bag, but the drawstrings kept it closed.

03-06-2025We purchased this car seat travel bag for a quick trip to Disneyland and then a future plane trip this summer. I read the reviews and it seemed that it would work for our Evenflow car seat, I had read on a few reviews that you could also put a booster in the bag with the car seat. So I was hoping that would be true. When it came, it was pre-packed into a small bag that is attached for storage and I was hoping that I could get it back into the storage bag when not in use. I was able to get our car seat and a booster (no back) into the bag to check on the plane. Worked perfectly and was easy to carry. There is a lot of room and it should fit the bulkiest car seats. It has a draw string closure, so I didnt really want to put much else in it besides the seats, but we were able to get it closed fully. Once the seats were in use in the rental car, I folded the bag up into the storage bag and kept it in the car out of the way ready for the return home. I was very pleased. There isnt much padding in the bag itself, but the fabric is thick and seems to hold up being tossed around with baggage. There is no visible signs of wear after the first trip. We will see what happens after the second. I will update this if necessary.

> 3 dayWe flew from Philly to Florida with 2 adults and two small children, 4 suitcases and 4 backpacks. Considering that the car seats fly free and dont count against our luggage, I didnt expect the airline to be careful with the car seats. Bring brings up Awesomeness number 1. Awesomeness number 1: Durable. We could see mechanical grease and skid marks on the bags, but absolutely no damage to our car seats on either flight. Once we were home the bags cleaned up great and didnt show any damage themselves. Awesomeness number 2: The back pack straps on these bags. Lugging 4 suitcases, 4 backpacks (the kids were each responsible for a backpack), and two car seats through airports and parking garages with only 2 adults to move it all (plus tracking the 2 kids). Each adult had a car seat on our backs, a back pack on our fronts, and 2 large suitcases. While awkward and cumbersome, it would have been impossible without the car seat travel bags. Awesomeness number 3: Folding size. Once at our destination, these bags folded up nice and small for easy storage until we needed to fly again.

> 3 dayIn my family, its a tradition to take family vacations at least once or twice a year. In the past years, weve always driven to our vacation destinations but recently (since we have 2 kids now), weve found ourselves flying to make it easier on the baby/toddler. But the problem here is that parents can only do so much when having luggage for every person + taking a stroller, carry-ons, and 2 car seats. You run out of hands! Even still if you rent a car, all rental car companies charge you around $20 a day for a car seat. Meaning we were spending $40+ a day just for 2 car seats. This is where a car seat travel bag comes in handy. Most of them are similar in which it just covers up your car seat to protect it from the elements. Where this one from Volkgo differs is that it has straps so you can carry the car seat like a backpack. This is a lifesaver because each parent can carry a car seat on their back, freeing up some hands for other things like luggage, strollers, or wrangling your kids. I did want to mention though, that the Volkgo Customer Support was excellent. Upon ordering mine, I found that there was an issue with the seam where the product was sewn together. I contacted them and they sent me another one with no questions asked. Truly a handy product!

Greater than one weekIt tore the very first time we used it. We checked the car seat at the check-in counter and when we arrived at our destination, there was a huge tear in the bag (over a foot long). When we took our return flight, it got another large tear. It fit the car seat just fine (Britax Grow With You) with plenty of extra room, so it wasnt overloaded or anything. Just the material is not as durable as expected. Update: the seller issued a refund, so at least they took good care of me!

Greater than one weekOverall this is a good product. The only thing that I don’t like is the velcro to seal it at the top of the bag while traveling isn’t very strong and comes open. There are draw strings to close it too but would be nice to make sure it was securely fastened which you cannot do.

> 3 dayThis made carrying the carseat through the airport so much easier than without it. The option to carry it like a backpack was amazing.

> 3 dayLove this bag! Huge con - one of the strap attachments broke on our very first trip. We ziptied it back into place, so it still kinda works, but big disappointment that it busted to begin with. Used it on 9 flights so far and its holding on. No big holes and its def held up better than the Mockinbird stroller bag that came with the stroller.

> 3 daySo far so good, used on 1 domestic flight with a plane change for my Graco contender with plenty of room to spare. Total flight time was appx 8 hours. Glad I had the cover it, it was raining when they transferred the luggage between planes and at my final destination. I was able to wrap the car seat in bubble wrap to protect the edges and still had room in the bag. Held up well, well see on the way back! Only suggestion is to make a luggage tag, instead of having to write info on the provided white strip, and to have a zip closure. I ended up making a large luggage tag and attached it to the center strap since Ill probably let my sister use it as well. Even though I triple knotted the drawstring and tucked it inside, it either came undone or handlers opened it and did not retie properly but the flap did prevent it from fully opening. I also love that this bag has 3 handle options (1 in front, 1 on side and back pack straps), it makes handling and carrying it so much easier!! Will update if anything changes. Update 11/27/17: 2 more flights and it is still holding up well! On one flight, we added one of those pop-up infant chairs (think top half of an old school walker) and still had room to spare. Was still able to add some cushion with the bubble wrap. Currently using the bag to store the Graco car seat, pop up chair and a travel baby bath.
