Vallejo Brown Earth Gel, 200ml

Great stuff, very realistic color and a great texture once it dries I want to see if it comes in a bigger bottle!

Looks like forbidden peanut butter, can’t wait to try it out on some dragon bases!

Ive been using this for basing miniatures and it works very well, you can apply it either with a spatula or a brush. It seems to clean off from the brush well after use so it doesnt ruin it. It can be worked to give a natural looking uneven surface and you can even add things like tire tracks or raised areas with it. I use it on the bases, wait for it to dry then add flock etc.

Perfect for what I want to use it for------ground for a diorama.

This stuff is great. Its thin enough to spread with a tool or a brush (though I would recommend not using a good brush for it. Use an old one) but is also thick enough to cover over the slots in a Games Workshop slotta base. It dries hard and looks like brown earth. You can apply more later to create a mud effect. Once it is dry, you can paint it for a variety of ground types. Dirt, sand, mud, snow, ash... it holds paint very well. You also get a lot for the price.

I hadnt used this stuff before, but tried it on a couple of my minis. Really makes doing the base on a fig easy to get a great result.

This is my first Vallejo purchase coming from Citadel paints - so what I say might sound ridiculous or ill informed so bear with me - but I purchased two Vallejo environment tubs (Thick Mud and Earth Texture) and the Thick Mud came sealed, full to the brim, whilst the Earth Texture came unsealed and missing a quarter of the tub. Perhaps the different consistencies of the products necessitate different volumes, I dont know, but that one of them *is* sealed and the other isnt doesnt fill me with confidence.

Works fantastic for basing. I add some wash to bring out the depth. Now to try other colorss

Schöne sandige Textur und gute zähflüssige Verarbeitbarkeit. Kann sandigen Boden und sogar ganz dünn aufgetragen Rost-Strukturen imitieren. Ich klebe meine Miniaturen mitlerweile nicht mehr an die Bases sondern stelle sie in den noch feuchten zähflüssigen Matsch. Das Produkt braucht mind 6 Std. bis es halbegs trocken ist.
