Vanicream Moisturizing Skin Cream, 16 Ounces

This is the only lotion I will use. It’s not full of toxic foreign chemicals and it’s the only lotion that combats my dry cracking painful eczema hands in the winter. I’ve even done the Vaseline with cotton gloves on at night & that doesn’t work, only this lotion works. I use this lotion on my face as well. It’ll get rid of a dry spot in 1-2 days. This product from this seller comes sealed. When you remove the screw off plastic blue lid there is a safety seal in tact, so I believe this seller is selling authentic products. I actually contacted Vanicream to confirm the design of the safety seal was authentic but they never got back to me. :(

This is the best moisturizing cream for people with sensitive skin and allergies. The cream is very thick and great for crack heals and dry skin. I even recommended it to a client when she told about her skin cracking and a week later she called just to tell me thank you for the recommendations. This cream is thick and not like the lite lotion.

It’s fine. A bit stickier as you apply compared to cerave, but it goes away as cream absorbs into the skin. I usually buy Cerave but wanted to try vanicream since everybody recommends it as a cheaper alternative. Well, it wasn’t cheaper really. And as I understand doesn’t have ceramides and other good stuff that Cerave has. It smells a bit off to me too. If it was $9 instead of $13 I would say it’s a good alternative. But a buck or two (or in case of a coupon -$0 ) dollars difference doesn’t make it a worthy contestant. CeraVe is nicer in terms of texture, almost no smell compared to Vanicream moisturizer, and has ceramides.

This was recommended by a doctor to us for my daughter’s eczema. It is very moisturizing and doesn’t burn. I put a lot of Vanicream lotion and then put a tubular bandage on my daughter’s arms and legs and two days later her skin is so soft and eczema is better. We will always use this even as she grows up.

Love all of the Vanicream products. This lotion is heavier but absorbs quickly and does an amazing job of moisturizing, especially those dry heels. It also works great to mix with magnesium oil for extra magnesium without the gut side effects.

The product name obviously had a lot of thought put into it. The creators basically took two unrelated things, and made them into one. Vani, coming from Vanil Noir is a mountain of the Fribourg Prealps, located on the border between the cantons of Fribourg and Vaud in western Switzerland. It actually held up. The moisture stayed in and helped balance eczema. Will definitely recommend this soap to other people with skin sensitivity.

My dermatologist recommended this to me due to my chronically dry skin. Within a matter of days, my skin no longer had that chalky look. Its a miracle, as far as Im concerned, because I have tried at least a dozen different so-called moisturizers. I only have two very minor complaints. The first is if I happen to put even a small amount of this on my face, I break out. Im not quite sure why that would be. I use Vanicream LIte for my face and its fine; however, it doesnt moisturize quite as effectively. The second small complaint I have is that even though it isnt supposed to have a fragrance, it does have a slight odor that I dont particularly care for. Its easy enough to cover up with body spray, though, and most people probably wouldnt even notice it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this moisturizer to anyone who has been struggling with dry, ashy skin. It certainly works for me!
