VASCHY Backpack for Men and Women, Vintage 15in Backpack Water-Resistant School Backpack

So...first thing first...this Book bag is on the smaller side. At first I was disappointed by the size but quickly fell in love. Its the perfect size...fits a 13 to 14 in laptop no problem. There are tons of zipper pockets which are convenient but I found that the inside placement of one scratches the finish on my Chromebook. Lots of attention to detail...and contrasting stitching is pleasing. Overall this is a great bargain book bag that looks very premium.

I ordered several backpacks to try. I teach high school and needed to transition from heavy totes to a backpack to help distribute the weight. This backpack is amazing! It has all the perfect pockets plus a few I didnt even realize it had. theyre in the perfect places. The size is great...not huge but not too small. I can hold as much in this as my North Face Recon but without the bulky feel. The fabric feels sooo smooth and great. Its kind of slick which I guess may be the water resistance. Light weight, durable, just perfect! Specifics about the pictures... Front of bag Front pocket open with 2 pockets under flap - one open, one zipped Inside of bag showing how much space is left above the large 5 subject notebook. Easily holds much more. Inside main compartment front has additional organizational pockets Inside main compartment to show how much space is still available behind the notebook Laptop/tablet padded pocket - I keep both my macbook and my ipad in there Zipper pocket behind the padded laptop pocket Back of backpack - durable, comfortable straps and deep hidden zipper pocket. 2 side pockets on the outside - will fit a regular water bottle or a tall slimmer bottle like a Swell or HydroFlask One thing I want to point out...a lot of these style bags with the front snaps snap upside down. That was weird to me. Several I purchased and sent back had snaps on the flap so you had to snap them back or it looked weird. This one has the snap on the pocket so if you leave it unsnapped, it still looks snapped. Even better, these snaps are magnetic so when you lower the flap, it pretty much connects them anyway where other ones have regular snaps instead of magnetic. Might seem like a minor thing but its definitely more functional the way this bag is! I did have a minor issue. One of the magnetic snaps on the front pocket snaps but doesnt stay snapped. I emailed the company just to ask if there was a way I could fix it and without hesitation, they sent me a new one. Excellent customer service! I highly recommend this bag. Im a little disappointed there arent more YouTube videos of it or more mention of it on backpack lists. This one definitely deserves a top spot on those lists or reviews!!! I have the green and the red. Both colors are pretty accurate. The green is my favorite. I may eventually get the gray too. Just get it!!

I love this backpack so much ! It has so many compartments, where you can store a lot of things. The laptop sleeve fits my laptop perfectly. I like the straps, as they do not hurt your shoulders. I have walked with it on in very heavy rain, and the water does not go through! A lot of people have complimented the style and look, def recommend!

Wish the water bottle holders were larger or stretchier so I could fit my 24 oz thermos. Besides that it all feels sturdy and I can carry quite a lot

Ive had this backpack for two and half years, and its has held up okay. However, due to some poor design choices and the availability of better value backpacks, I do not recommend this backpack. First of all, the backpack cannot stand up by itself! This is largely because of the placement of the pockets— normally, side pockets come all the way to the bottom of a backpack, so that a heavy bottle doesnt cause it to tip over. Also, anything in those front interior pockets falls out when you open the backpack. For me this is a problem, as the things that I want to keep on the inside of the main pocket are things I want to protect from weather or theft. This is my #1 beef with the backpack as it affects functionality AND aesthetics, which is the main appeal of this backpack. The backpack looks a lot less cute when its all slumped over. (The picture shows what happens when I try to stand the backpack up -_-) In general, the zippers & straps are nothing to write home about, but the backpack has held up pretty okay. Theres a hole forming near top handle seam and the Keyfob broke after using it for less than a month, but otherwise everything is fine. Since buying this backpack, Ive learned that Landsend has backpacks on sale all the time...so theyre cheaper AND more functional.

I am overly impressed with this bag. It was big enough to hold my laptop as well all of my purse contents and then some as a carry on bag. The color is perfect (for me) and it is water resistant. I will be using this to its full capacity as well just as a use all book bag. It has tons of pockets with zippers, mesh and then some. I HIGHLY recommend this.

Ive bought all types of backpacks over the years and I like this one the best! I love the color, design and inside pockets. Though it really doesnt have a whole lot of padding inside for the laptop, it fits my 13 laptop, a couple of notebooks and books comfortably and has stayed dry when I get stuck in pouring rain! I like the width of the straps and the handles at the top has been helpful when sitting down or getting up from my seat on the train. The two pockets on the side fits my water bottle or coffee tumbler comfortably also except if the backpack is full its hard to fit my water bottle in it. My one major complaint... after a whole year of using it every day for work... some of the stitching is starting to get loose and show..

Love this backpack! I purchased it for a new laptop. It looks great and has many pockets. I sometimes use it without the computer as a purse/work bag. I received the ultimate compliment when two of my daughters (a teen and a graduate student) wanted to order one as well.

Pros: I absolutely love this backpack, it is comfortable, durable, and sturdy. I chose black because it doesnt get as dirty and matches every outfit. It is stylish, you can dress up business casual and dress down with it. Cons: I wish it provided a little more space inside, the side for the water bottle only allows a specific size and doesnt have deeper space for your water bottle.

LOVED this backpack. It’s was the perfect carry-on for a recent trip and I was shocked at how much it could hold. It had a little pocket for everything. I also wore it in the rain a lot, but everything inside stayed nice and dry. The fact that the entire front unzips all the way so you can pull it back is super helpful.
