This is a nice landing pad it will comply with the new faa regulations that you must have a well marked launch/ landing area that can be easily identified as a drone landing pad and to be careful , pads like this one will comply to the regulations and not only protecting the drone from grass and dirt but look professional and keep you from any problems from the FAA, I use mine every time I fly and always register with the faa for any drone over 250 grams and put the number on the Drone and on a lanyard to be safe then use an app to check for any tfr flight restrictions are up and be sure to only fly under 400 feet up and In Your line of sight or have someone else be your spotter to keep sight of your drone and tell you when there is any problems, use bright strobe lights for anything after sunset or civil twilight that can be seen for 3 miles away and will be an anti collision beacon for maned flight always yield to any manned aircraft. Dont fly over groups of people or moving cars but can fly anywhere else using good judgment to cross roads or follow roads in flight no harm no foul just be careful not to endanger property or people and you should be fine, under 250 grams and no need to register with the faa and have less restrictions and less impact to anything in an accident, happy flying

Hefty pad. I think it will work well out in the field.

This is my first landing pad so far and I love it. Its heavy enough to not get blown away by heavy wind. I travelled with this to Puerto Rico and didnt have any problems, Its big enough for my DJI Mini 2 to land and small enough to travel, just fold it 2 times and lay it under your clothes in the luggage and your good to go. I did check it in going to Puerto Rico but I had it on my carry on coming back to the US and didnt have problems in the security. I highly recommend. Wooooot.. Happy landing!!!!!

Better than what expected. Heavy enough to stay put without securing it, even in windy conditions. Amazed at accuracy of returning to home feature using this pad.
