Venus Laboratories Ecos (Petastic) Pet Stain & Odor Remover 32 oz

Previous renters had a cat that must have peed in the corner regularly. Scent isnt overwhelming but it is noticeable especially when the windows are all closed (I live in the northern US so thats 3/4 of the year) so far havent managed to get rid of that last bit of lingering smell. Was hoping this would do the trick but alas its still there. Will try one more treatment but my hopes arent high.

This stuff is magic. Works better than almost anything else Ive ever used and I have two Pomeranians. :D

ECOS for pets is the original Natures Miracle formula with modification: it has a light but, thankfully, inoffensive citrus scent. When the partners of original Natures Miracle split up in 2013, as settlement one party got the Natures Miracle packaging while the other party got the original formula. ECOS is the evolution of that original formula by that second party. Thank heaven I discovered ECOS -- it works as well as the original Natures Miracle formula!

This did not take the smell out of dog urine

This did not take away the cat urine odor from my sofa. I think it improved it a little, but not nearly enough. It also added its own scent.

Earth Friendly Products acquired the rights to the Petastic formula a year or so ago, and apparently has altered the formula, which unfortunately has removed most of its urine deodorizing capabilities. In my experience it was superior to Natures Miracle, the original name for Petastic, until the owners had a falling out, whereupon one retained brand name, Natures Miracle, the other retained the formula, renaming the product Petastic. Over the years Petastic became increasingly hard to find, while Natures Miracle became increasingly more prevalent, eventually leading to the sale of the Petastic formula to Earth Friendly Products. I tried their product and it is clearly ineffective compared to Petastic. They have altered the formula, likely to make it green or earth friendly, But unfortunately, they have rendered the product ineffective in removing urine odors. Bottom line, avoid. Dont waste your money. Opt for Natures Miracle.

I was so happy to have taken the time reading the comments and researching this product. Natures Miracle Pet Oder & Stain Remover is no longer the same. It was a product given to me by a friend and we loved it! Evidently like all companies they change hands and retool the products. Venus Laboratories kept popping up. This product has the same ingredients! Yeah! I swear by it. My Feral cat is still adjusting to indoor life and at times feels the need to express his maleness! LOL I have 4 cats, we have been using Petastic for over a month on carpets, OSB wood, pet beds and blankets, even in outdoor areas. It works. Like any liquid it may blemish sensitive fabrics like silk and knits. But this is one human who is pleased with this pet product.

Works Great for my pet urine no smell after a few days

Like many others, I purchased a new bottle of Nature’s Miracle only to find myself gagging on a horrible chemical odor that wouldnt come out of the carpets. After doing some research I learned that another company had purchased the rights to the Nature’s Miracle name but was using a new formula. With the help of some great reviewers, I found myself on this page and gave the Venus Laboratories product a try. I’m happy to report that this is EXACTLY what I’ve been using for the last two decades. This is either the original Nature’s Miracle formula or something very close to it. It’s completely odorless and very effective. If you have a lot of pets you may find the 32 oz. bottle to be too small, but they do make a gallon size. If you’re a longtime user of Nature’s Miracle, this is now the product to buy!

Many reviews say that this is better than Natures Miracle or the same original formula. It is NOT. It is watery with a strange odor, nothing like the original Natures Miracle. After using it, I got a headache.
