Vera Bradley Convertible Garment Bag

Gorgeous bag, will be so great to travel with! Update: I finally got the opportunity to travel with this bag so I wanted to make my review more accurate. This bag is absolutely amazing. It is an all in one travel bag. Completely unzipped, it starts as a garment bag to hold your hanging clothes. There are a few hanger slots. Once you get your hanging items situated, then you start zipping up the bag. It zips itself into a duffle type bag. Inside the bag on both sides are two secure plastic pouches to store your toiletries, then ample room to hold everything else if you’re only traveling for a couple days. There are also pouches on the outside. Then there are handles and a padded shoulder strap. The outside is a sleek black and the inside has a gorgeous pattern. When you’re finished traveling, it all folds nicely to tuck away in a corner. My only complaint would be that there’s really no way to secure it in itself when folded, so if you don’t have a tight corner, it comes unfolded and takes up more space. But all in all, it’s an absolutely amazing bag and makes me feel spectacularly fancy! I’m definitely more of a yard sale girl than a Vera Bradley girl, so it makes me feel fancy to have such a luxurious bag when I travel with my management team!

This garment/weekender bag is FABULOUS!! I tried to do a video of how it works, but that function of the app isnt working right now unfortunately. This bag is everything. It folds into a weekender and its deep and wide to fit a whole 3 or 4 days worth of clothes plus the garment bag which has 4 loops to hang clothes. There is a large side pocket and a loop to put it over a rolling luggage. This is a wonderful piece of luggage. Its very practical and efficient. AND its also waterproof!!!! Get it! Dont hesitate. Itll make a fantastic Christmas gift as well!

The design of this Vera Bradley Convertible Garment Bag is really unique and convenient, which is suitable for a short weekend/business trip. It provides enough space to store a maximum of 4 clothes to hang on and assembles as a travel bag. So, the space of the interior bag depends on the size/thickness of the clothing you hang. I tried to hang on my husbands regular down jacket. There is not too much room to put on other clothes/things. Its also a little bit difficult to zip it up. The other thing I want to speak about is that the bottom of the clothing will have the chance to bunch up since when the bag closes, which depends on the fabric and the quantity of the clothing you put inside. The material of the garment bag is sturdy, durable and well made. All zippers are able to open and close smoothly. I like that there is a convertible trolley sleeve on the bag, you can zip it up as a pocket or open it as needed so that you can hang slip it through the handle of your other luggage. It would be nice if there was a strap/button to tie/buckle up the bag when it is folded and not in use, which would keep it more tidy and organized. Overall, this is a functional travel garment bag and I recommend it.

This bag is perfect for conference and wedding travel. It keeps everything flat and wrinkle-free while flying and on trains. The strap allows it to be carried like a normal dufflebag or crossbody. The zipper will take some time to break in and folding it into the duffle takes practice but is simpler than other duffle/garment combinations. Once folded into the duffle, you can pack it as a normal duffle with more cloths or other necessities. This is a must for anyone who worries about wrinkling clothes while traveling or may need more room for souvenirs at the end of the trip.

Love it. This bag is perfect for weekend trips, gigs, business travel, and really any other trip where you want to have something hanging. Its not the longest, so any long shirts/jackets/dresses need to be folded slightly. That doesnt bother me at all but it might be an issue for others. The zipper sticks at 1st, but once you use it a few times it loosens up. Otherwise, no complaints! Great product!

This is such a great idea! I often have clothing I want to pack more carefully than folded in an open bag, so a duffle bag is not enough of a structure for me. I also like to take the rest of my clothes out and put in a drawer, so that it isnt packed so tightly that it will wrinkle. Because this bag answers both these needs, it is perfect for me. I can hang dresses and blouses, zip them into the garment bag, and fold the remainder of my clothes and put them in the duffle bag, along with other items, then zip the entire bag up at each end, and my garment bag is a duffle bag, which is easy to maneuver and carry (with the handles or shoulder strap). There are both a zip pocket and a slip pocket on the outside, and two on the inside flaps (at the shoulders of the garment bag section). The outer fabric is a very sturdy synthetic, and the interior is a lovely print, worthy of a Vera Bradley bag. The only thing I find lacking, one which surprised me, since the design is so thoughtful, is that there is no provision for fastening the bag together in the folded configuration for storage. I solved that problem by using a Grifiti Band Joes Silicone Rubber Band to hold it together. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

This is a very high quality garment bag that is durable and well-made. The zippers slide easily and dont get stuck and there are multiple pockets to help keep you organized. Theres enough space to fit about 2-3 items in the garment section, and then you can pack additional items in the interior of the bag. The strap is comfortable and easy to adjust so it can fit a variety of sizes. Ive used it on two work trips and each time it has kept my suit protected and wrinkle-free. It is very expensive so Im not sure if its worth the price compared to other bags on the market though.

This is the coolest bag I have seen yet. Wish I had this when I was traveling weekly for buisness. You can put your shirts in the inside zip it up into a bag then fill with everything else. Then when you get to your place unzip and hang the bag to unwrinkle your shirts.

Very well made, and works well as a combo garment bag/duffle bag. This item is pretty large, much wider than my checked mid-size suitcase, and can get heavy if you fill it to size!
