> 3 dayGorgeous bag, will be so great to travel with! Update: I finally got the opportunity to travel with this bag so I wanted to make my review more accurate. This bag is absolutely amazing. It is an all in one travel bag. Completely unzipped, it starts as a garment bag to hold your hanging clothes. There are a few hanger slots. Once you get your hanging items situated, then you start zipping up the bag. It zips itself into a duffle type bag. Inside the bag on both sides are two secure plastic pouches to store your toiletries, then ample room to hold everything else if you’re only traveling for a couple days. There are also pouches on the outside. Then there are handles and a padded shoulder strap. The outside is a sleek black and the inside has a gorgeous pattern. When you’re finished traveling, it all folds nicely to tuck away in a corner. My only complaint would be that there’s really no way to secure it in itself when folded, so if you don’t have a tight corner, it comes unfolded and takes up more space. But all in all, it’s an absolutely amazing bag and makes me feel spectacularly fancy! I’m definitely more of a yard sale girl than a Vera Bradley girl, so it makes me feel fancy to have such a luxurious bag when I travel with my management team!

> 3 dayThis is the coolest bag I have seen yet. Wish I had this when I was traveling weekly for buisness. You can put your shirts in the inside zip it up into a bag then fill with everything else. Then when you get to your place unzip and hang the bag to unwrinkle your shirts.

Greater than one weekAn amazing and interesting product that left me wondering why this design isnt the standard way of designing travel and garment bags. I got this product for my wife who is a big fan of Vera Bradley products and the design seemed to make this a multi-purpose travel/garment bag. After the bag arrived, we went on an overnight trip and my wife loved the bag. Not only is it made of high-quality materials... the design also makes it a multi-purpose bag that is perfect for short trips or for a carry-on bag. Now that I have seen the way the bag zips from a garment bag to a carry-on bag, I am left wondering why this isnt the standard for all bags. I highly recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for a high-quality travel bag or garment bag. You will not be disappointed!

> 3 dayI’ve never seen a black Vera Bradley. It’s the same quality we’ve expected but is more masculine

Greater than one weekThis is such a great idea! I often have clothing I want to pack more carefully than folded in an open bag, so a duffle bag is not enough of a structure for me. I also like to take the rest of my clothes out and put in a drawer, so that it isnt packed so tightly that it will wrinkle. Because this bag answers both these needs, it is perfect for me. I can hang dresses and blouses, zip them into the garment bag, and fold the remainder of my clothes and put them in the duffle bag, along with other items, then zip the entire bag up at each end, and my garment bag is a duffle bag, which is easy to maneuver and carry (with the handles or shoulder strap). There are both a zip pocket and a slip pocket on the outside, and two on the inside flaps (at the shoulders of the garment bag section). The outer fabric is a very sturdy synthetic, and the interior is a lovely print, worthy of a Vera Bradley bag. The only thing I find lacking, one which surprised me, since the design is so thoughtful, is that there is no provision for fastening the bag together in the folded configuration for storage. I solved that problem by using a Grifiti Band Joes Silicone Rubber Band to hold it together. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Greater than one weekWow, I love that you can store this flat! Ample of space once zipped together and great for long weekend get away or as overhead baggage. The quality of the bag is very good, and note that if you place more than 2 winter blazers, it does take away some of the inside space, but if you need to switch into work jacket - hey presto, it stays well flat, few wrinkles.

Greater than one weekThis Vera Bradley Convertible Garment Bag is well-designed and will keep a suit or formal dress safe or wrinkle free even while its being used as a duffel bag. Its durable-feeling and not too heavy. The detachable shoulder strap is very sturdy. I also like that it comes in a black option which still has a Vera Bradley floral pattern on the inside. The only thing I dont like about it is that while it can serve as your carry-on bag to put into an overhead bin, its slightly too large (collapsed or as a duffel) to be the personal item that airlines allow in addition to a carry-on. Expanded, its 14 inches high, 20 inches wide and 9 inches deep. The maximum dimensions for most airline personal items is smaller than that (usually around 18 x 14 x 8).

> 3 dayThe idea of a carry-on with a hanging compartment is really appealing. I like being able to hang my clothes up when I arrive. Its a beautiful bag thats very well made and holds a lot. I guess Id like more pockets inside to store bottles of liquid stuff. I like having them upright. I havent used it on a plane just in the car.

Greater than one weekVera Bradley always has super cute and functional bags, but this Vera Bradley Convertible Garment Bag is like the ultimate chameleon. You can use it as a garment bag, or as a gym, travel, weekend, or really anything else you could possibly want bag also! And what’s more is it also fold down pretty small so when it’s not in use storage is pretty easy. The quality is top notch, both the material and the zippers are all well made and don’t feel cheap at all. 100% would recommend!
