Vera Bradley Convertible Garment Bag

I found this to be a poor use of space. Yes it zips up into the duffle looking carry case but its bulky and really doesnt hold what you would think it does. I found it to be awkward and with all my travel couldnt be bothered. I donated mine.

Wow, I love that you can store this flat! Ample of space once zipped together and great for long weekend get away or as overhead baggage. The quality of the bag is very good, and note that if you place more than 2 winter blazers, it does take away some of the inside space, but if you need to switch into work jacket - hey presto, it stays well flat, few wrinkles.

Vera Bradley always has super cute and functional bags, but this Vera Bradley Convertible Garment Bag is like the ultimate chameleon. You can use it as a garment bag, or as a gym, travel, weekend, or really anything else you could possibly want bag also! And what’s more is it also fold down pretty small so when it’s not in use storage is pretty easy. The quality is top notch, both the material and the zippers are all well made and don’t feel cheap at all. 100% would recommend!

I picked this out for business trips when I wanted my suit to travel without wrinkles. It is always stressful to try and use a hotel iron. This Vera Bradley garment bag which will fit a suit and a dress, with lots of room and pockets for extras. I love that it’s compact enough to carry on the plane and lightweight enough to manage in confined spaces and lug through airports. Once in your room, you can hang the whole bag, like any other garment bag—so convenient. Unless it’s a short trip, you will need more luggage, but this is a genius solution for business travel. I have the black, and I am happy to say that it’s a good-looking bag.

This ban is absolutely stunning and well designed. It is very roomy, it fits 4-5 paper towel rails on the folded form. The garment bag can fit several shirts or 1-2 dresses. It has 2 side pockets inside and a big zipped pocket outside. It can be pulled over the suitcase handle if needed or carried sideways. It also has a shoulder strap. The inside of the bag and the pockets are lined with the characteristic Vera Bradley patterned fabric. The bag is very sturdy and durable. Perfect bad for business travel, destination wedding and any other travel that will involve a nice evening out.

This little bag is awesome. I went on a weeklong getaway and it was big enough to bring all the clothes I needed, as well as a pair of shoes - yet small enough that it fit in the overhead bin on the airplane (737). I did have to gate check it on my 2nd flight (Q400) but I believe it would have fit under the seat had I tried. Anyway, the stitching and zippers all help up well during my trip, and I was surprised at how comfortable it was to carry with the strap. This is a great quality travel bag!

Gorgeous bag, will be so great to travel with! Update: I finally got the opportunity to travel with this bag so I wanted to make my review more accurate. This bag is absolutely amazing. It is an all in one travel bag. Completely unzipped, it starts as a garment bag to hold your hanging clothes. There are a few hanger slots. Once you get your hanging items situated, then you start zipping up the bag. It zips itself into a duffle type bag. Inside the bag on both sides are two secure plastic pouches to store your toiletries, then ample room to hold everything else if you’re only traveling for a couple days. There are also pouches on the outside. Then there are handles and a padded shoulder strap. The outside is a sleek black and the inside has a gorgeous pattern. When you’re finished traveling, it all folds nicely to tuck away in a corner. My only complaint would be that there’s really no way to secure it in itself when folded, so if you don’t have a tight corner, it comes unfolded and takes up more space. But all in all, it’s an absolutely amazing bag and makes me feel spectacularly fancy! I’m definitely more of a yard sale girl than a Vera Bradley girl, so it makes me feel fancy to have such a luxurious bag when I travel with my management team!

An amazing and interesting product that left me wondering why this design isnt the standard way of designing travel and garment bags. I got this product for my wife who is a big fan of Vera Bradley products and the design seemed to make this a multi-purpose travel/garment bag. After the bag arrived, we went on an overnight trip and my wife loved the bag. Not only is it made of high-quality materials... the design also makes it a multi-purpose bag that is perfect for short trips or for a carry-on bag. Now that I have seen the way the bag zips from a garment bag to a carry-on bag, I am left wondering why this isnt the standard for all bags. I highly recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for a high-quality travel bag or garment bag. You will not be disappointed!

And it def exceeded my expectations. I love it! I was a little worried it would be too soft, but the exterior is very sturdy and stiff. The strap and handles and interior fabric and the zippers all seem very nice and high quality. I’m excited to use this. I love Vera Bradley stuff and this does not disappoint. The gray did seem lighter in the pics which I thought was very pretty but it’s def darker gray. There are no ‘feet’ on the bottom but there are raised plastic strips. It should def qualify as a carry on but won’t go under an airplane seat. It’s about 45-46” when you add up LxHxW and airline requirements for soft-sided carry ins is 51” total.

This bag is perfect for conference and wedding travel. It keeps everything flat and wrinkle-free while flying and on trains. The strap allows it to be carried like a normal dufflebag or crossbody. The zipper will take some time to break in and folding it into the duffle takes practice but is simpler than other duffle/garment combinations. Once folded into the duffle, you can pack it as a normal duffle with more cloths or other necessities. This is a must for anyone who worries about wrinkling clothes while traveling or may need more room for souvenirs at the end of the trip.
