> 24 hourIve used the Vetericyn wound care spray and it worked very well, so I hoped this would help a friends burro. The burro does not have any chronic skin issues or parasites, but can occasionally get skin issues if she gets into the wrong feed or is fed treats by well-meaning kids. It is extremely easy to use, the foam is wet enough to stay on while the entire body is covered. Work in, rinse off, its that easy. Best of all, it doesnt leave her feeling dry, as I assumed a medicated product would.

> 24 hourI ordered the antibacterial version of this shampoo, but instead received the shine one. Not at all what I wanted, as my horse has some fungus on her back legs and I wanted something to help with that. The product does work well for a regular shampoo for her coat, but I had to buy something else for an antibacterial and anti fungal shampoo.

> 24 hourI have a 3yo with a chronic itch. I’ve tried supplements, lotions and other shampoos. None worked. After two weeks and four baths with Vetericyn Medicated, she’s itch free and the skin lesions are gone. Works great!!

> 24 hourI love this shampoo! I am a professional groom and it is by far my favorite, and I’ve tried lots. I first discovered it by accident when our feed store brought it by mistake but kept it and tried it out and I’m so glad I did. It leaves a fantastic clean; the dirt and stains come off with ease and the horses are left super shiny. The horses actually FEEL clean, it does not leave any greasy residue. It cleans the manes and tails very well - I have a few with white and light blonde manes and tails and it makes a huge difference. It even whitens whites - I no longer need quick silver, I can use this one shampoo for all my horses. It requires way less elbow grease than others I’ve used in the past which makes my job easier and saves my wrists. The spray foam feature is also very convenient. I love that healthy as well because during the show season we are bathing constantly and I worry about drying out their skin, which this does not do. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed!

> 24 hourSo much easier than trying to attach the foamer hose attachment to the barn horse. This spray shampoo works great & doesn’t irritate my sensitive mare!

> 24 hourThe Vetericyn company makes a very effective first aid spray for animal use that has proven remarkably successful for oun assorted animals, so I had great expectations for the equine shampoo, both plain and medicated. We are not disappointed. It delivers aerated foamy, like Bath and Body Works foam soaps. Any soil on the horse gathers in the foam and rinses cleanly, leaving a shiny coat. The plain shampoo is virtually odorless, and the medicated version has a mild scent.

> 24 hourUsed on my horses’ mane and tail. Smells so bad can hardly stand to be near him. Used once, so far no sign that it is working. Was easy to apply, seemed to rinse well. Thank God I didn’t use it on his whole body. Missed the return window by one day—had to wait for warmer weather.

> 24 hourIf youve never seen a Percheron draft horse with dry, itchy, flaky summer skin, let me just say.... its pitiful. Nine months out of the year, our big mare is an elegant, deep black with a silky coat and a spring in her step. Shes an astonishingly accomplished dressage horse, performing upper level movements with grace and joy except from July to October. Texas is hot and dry then and the Percheron is a cold weather breed and her skin suffers for it. I am always on the lookout for things to keep her comfortable - regular soothing baths and Eucerin cream have been the best. Today I used this medicated shampoo instead of the Head and Shoulders to see if it was any better. Immediately, the scent was awesome - sort of eucalyptus smell that we both like. It sprays out in an instant foam that goes directly where you want and does not drip. The trigger pull is smooth and frankly, just cleaner to use than standing on my tip toes with an upside down bottle trying to pour shampoo on the back of an 18 hand tall, sweaty horse after a ride. It didnt lather as thickly as I expected, but it did get her clean and rinsed off completely. See the photos for the dirt that came up in the first swirls. I watched her for almost 30 minutes after the bath and she wasnt rubbing or scratching at itchy spots on her flank or withers or cheeks. Clearly the medication ingredient here is doing something soothing. I will absolutely continue to use this and the Eucerin cream as needed.
