Greater than one weekAfter 3 months of use I saw a small white dot on my screen I contacted Viewsonic. They said they would replace it. They sent me a refurbished unit. See the second picture which has all these white circles all over the screen. I told them I just want a refund and they said I need to go through Amazon. What a hassle this has been.

Greater than one weekI waited for a while to pull the trigger on a 4k projector - 1080p on a 200 screen just wasnt cutting it anymore. I got tired of being able to see the scan lines, plus my old projector was only like 600 lumens so it only worked in basically total darkness. This projector is a quantum leap from that 1080p machine. Ive been in this game a very long time. I used to refurbish 3-gun CRT projectors back in the day because despite being big, clunky, and maintenance-heavy, they put out the absolute best picture money could buy back then. Soon LED and DLP technology got better and better and it just didnt make sense to have a 300 pound projector built into a coffee table anymore whenever something that weighs less than a pound can put out a picture thats nearly as good. So there we have it - its taken technology thirty years to finally catch up to the 4k analog days of CRT projectors, but boy have they ever and in a huge way. This projector is a bargain and it blows away anything else Ive ever owned. The brightness levels are insane - actually a little too much - I recommend using Dynamic Eco Mode as it is still plenty bright and will increase lamp life dramatically. The picture that this thing puts out is outstanding. Do I wish the keystone controls were a little better or that the optical zoom was better so that I didnt have to relocate my projector to the back of the room? Sure I do, but projectors that do that cost twice as much and dont put out a much better picture. This thing is absolutely the best bang for the buck out there in home theater right now. My only real complaint is that sometimes on white lettering I can see the chromatic aberration rainbow effect, but it doesnt happen a lot and Ive learned to ignore it. If youre on the fence and have a large enough room to support the long throw on this projector, I wouldnt hesitate a bit.

Greater than one weekProjector funktioniert nicht mit Chromecast. Keine Video - nur schwartz bild - aber mit audio. Für uns das ist ein Dealbreaker unf für diese Prise das kann nicht passiert.

> 3 dayI didn’t purchase this specifically for the 3D feature, but I was hoping it had it. Nowhere in the Amazon description, nor on the Projector Central site does the term “3D” even come up. In fact, many reviews say it does not have it. HOWEVER, I just purchased the PX701-4K and it absolutely DOES SUPPORT 3D!!! I didn’t have to do any firmware updates. I just put in a 3D Blu-ray in my 3D Blu-ray player and it worked! As far as the 4K goes, it is beautiful! It is the pixel-shifting process, but it is still a huge improvement on 1080p. AND I projected it on a 250” screen and it looks glorious! This projector is totally worth the price.

> 3 dayThis is a fantastic short throw projector. It works great if you lack space, and still want a large image. You can be a few feet away and project an 80 ft image. I have mine connected to my Sony Atmos soundbar, and with the PS4. I have been playing Destiny 2 on it and it looks amazingly sharp, and I havent experienced any kind of distortion, lag input, or discomfort. It is easy to set up, and is basically plug and play. It is lightweight, and small enough to carry around. This is great for taking outdoors at night, or over a friends house. You can just set it up on a table and start playing away. I didnt know short throws were so much better but they are so convenience in limited spaces. I would definetely recommend this projector. It works very well and the picture is amazing. I love it.

Greater than one weekMy other projector is an Epson Laser short throw, so I was expecting a...shorter short throw. But my Epson went down and this showed up at my door, and wow, this is a terrific little projector. The distance from the wall in the photo is 78. The HD resolution is great, not as good as the Epson, but for the difference in price...I have it connected to an Amazon Fire TV box. Using Bose computer speakers. Theres a computer audio plug on the back of the projector along with a couple of phone plugs, two HDMI connectors and VGA. Im wondering when VGA connectors will finally disappear. So, this is a great projector. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayBrightness is good. However on white screen transitions the keystone is exposed and you can see light on the wall which is distracting. Otherwise picture quality would be given a higher rating. A bonus ViewSonic feature is the letterbox format for buyers that have letterbox screens.

> 3 dayI read a ton of reviews and while this is certainly not the best high end projector it gets the job done at an affordable price. The picture is crisp, 4k is awesome, and overall is very bright! We picked it up for right around 1k and I couldnt be happier.
