> 3 dayThis sponge scratched my cars paint. Perhaps with light color you wouldnt notice it, but on a darker one youd notice scratches all over the surface. Same with plastic parts.

> 3 dayNot much to say about it! It holds all the dirt kinda hard to ring it out while washing nice and firm, all around good cleaning tool!

> 3 dayMy wife does a lot of long distance driving and not surprisingly she gets a lot of tar and bugs on her car. Hard to wash off. But this mesh pad just makes it easier for me. Did not affect the cars finish.

> 3 dayTraveled and carried home about 1,000 love bugs. This sponge took off the top layer, but would not remove the heavier parts.

Greater than one week* DISSOLVE BUGS: with Hydrogen Peroxide. * Yes, thats right. Its an old trick used by many. Google it. * I put it in a squirt bottle with just a splash of the car wash I use. * The car wash is a bit thicker allowing the peroxide to stay on the surface longer. * Let this concoction stay on a while to soak into the bug crud, then wash off. * No damage is done to paint or plastic, but brutal to bugs and their guts. * It helps if you PRE-WAX the surface that the bugs smash onto.
