Great clips, strong enough to get the job done.

These are great, sturdy bag clips. I can see that some reviewers were disappointed that the magnets were not strong enough for a clip to hold up a heavy object, such as a calendar, but in my case I see the intent of the magnets as holding the clips to the refrigerator so that they can be found when needed to use as bag clips. The magnets are certainly strong enough to hold things like index cards or a childs drawing to a refrigerator, if that is desired. I recommend these clips!

The magnets on these are stronger than the ones on the Faberware Colorful Clips or Cooks Corner clips. The others ones are easy to knock off the refrigerator just by slamming the door, sometimes causing the magnet to come off. Both are equally good for sealing bags. But I would like the magnets to be a tad stronger.

Like that they hold a lot of paper/business cards but magnet broke off when I accidentally dropped it on a wooded floor

I find these types of clips most effective and durable for frequent home use. These are sturdily constructed, grip tightly, hold up well in the freezer and have a nice, strong magnet firmly attached. The price tag is steep compared to other (inferior) clips, but when I finally got tired of having the other clips split apart, shatter or lose their magnet, I decided to try these. Im so glad I did.

These clips have horrible magnets on them and they break easily right in the middle? Sorry not happy!

Weak grip, barely holds anything.
