eNJOYED USING THIS PROGRAM. IT IS ALSO EASY TO FOLLOW

I was hoping to use it to create a floorplan layout to scale for a kitchen and bath remodel. Maybe I just missed that feature. Havent had a lot of time to play around with it, so cannot properly evaluate.

As a website designer, and definitely not a draftsman, I use this program to draw house plans for a home builder client. Does the trkick.

Do not buy this product if you want more then a rough sketch.

To big of a learning curve - wanted something that I could bang out a quick floor plan for moving purposes.

I have used CAD software in the past, so I was aware there would be a learning curve, and that no CAD software is simple. However, I am very disappointed that the software is highly troublesome - I have had frequent freezes (my OS is Win7 64-bit). Its frustrating to be working with a design and get frozen out. Although there are periodic auto-saves, whatever it was I am working on disappears.

It was difficult for me to understand the architecture of the program. Im sure given enough time, this program could be very beneficial. I did find a CAD program that was much easier to understand, and I truly enjoying the results. DesignCAD 2021 2D is now my go to CAD program.

As others have mentioned, this software is not intuitive nor easy to use. Strange things happen. My design suddenly whisks off the screen by itself. You can find it but after half a dozen times, it gets really old. My computer completely hung up several times with Vista and I had to run the program in XP compatibility mode. Which solved that problem but not others. Some items wont place properly on your layout. I spent well over an hour trying to figure out how to get my design to print bigger than about half an inch by one-quarter of an inch. And now Ive forgotten how I did it. And on and on it goes....definitely not fun.

A) This isnt the HGTV version. This is Virtual Architect. Box looks pretty much the same so maybe VA bought it and ruined it? Anyway. Wont install on my Windows 7 system. Went online, did everything I was told. Installed a bunch of SQL server stuff and disabled a bunch of startup items to give it due diligence. Nothing worked. Total garbage. Spend up and buy something that works.

I cant figure out how to use it. When you try the user guide , you get an error
