I ordered this umbrella because I wanted a travel umbrella that was light weight, had UV protection, and would fit easily in my luggage. This umbrella definitely meets my requirements and more. I like that it opens and closes at a push of a button, and the color I ordered (black with a red interior) is both fun and classy. We are having high wind warnings today where I live, so I decided to test how the umbrella did in the wind. The wind was blowing about 25MPH when I took it outside, with gusts up to 50MPH. The umbrella held up well given its weight, but did turn inside out after a couple of minutes when it was hit by a gust. Turning it inside out didnt result in any permanent damage, and it was easy to get it back into shape by collapsing it and re-opening it. Id say that this is not an umbrella to use in high winds but what umbrella is? Since I dont typically encounter these sorts of winds when Im traveling, I think this umbrella will work well for my needs. My other travel umbrella is quite heavy and bulky. I look forward to using this Vivian and Tommy umbrella on my future trips.

This umbrella is an absolute nightmare, once open it takes all my strength to get this garbage closed. I cant use it anymore. Lost my money.

I needed an umbrella to keep in my car for rainy days, this umbrella is small and compact but does a great job protecting from the rain!

When I ordered I didnt realize this was a standard-sized umbrella. I was replacing a compact one. But, this is great. I forgot how much extra protection you get with the standard size. The burgundy color is beautiful. The opening and closing mechanism is fast and smooth. Note: The fabric sleeve that slides over the umbrella is a tight fit. It isnt easy to put back on. However, I dont use the sleeves [prevents drying of the umbrella when wet], and are just a nuisance when you want to open it quickly

Great travel size umbrella. Color is classy and size is good for one person. It’s tightly sprung so it opens fast. It takes some effort to close back up but has a backward arrow button that releases the umbrella. From there you can wrap it and then collapse the handle. It’s sturdy and doesn’t feel like it’ll break anytime soon.

This umbrella is compact and has an auto open feature. I particularly like the different colors for the exterior and interior parts of the umbrella. Effective at keeping you dry and take up very little space when not in use.

I love this umbrella its so easy all I have to do is press the button and it pops open. It is also very easy to close and Its sturdy and exactly what I needed.

Good open and closing action. Compact. Has some weight due to mechanism but not too bad. Handles NYC rain storm very well.
