Im new into birding and was super unsure about which binoculars to buy and at what magnification. I got the 8x42 and glad I didnt get the 10x42 as I think that would have been a bit much. Im absolutely in love with them. Theyre clear and I like that you can keep your sunglasses on when viewing. Ive seen so many cool things through these binoculars. They dont fog. Mine got soaked on a kayaking trip and I was worried they would be ruined/water got in, but no they were fine.

They are very durable and clear. Great binoculars all in all. I like that vortex has a warranty on them. Im very satisfied with the cost as well.

As soon as I pulled these binoculars out of the box I could tell I made a good purchase. I bought them for bird watching. I seen something move on the other side of the field, about 100 yards, to my surprise it was a fox and 3 little pops. I could see them so clearly. I have only had cheap binoculars so it took me a minute to figure out how to adjust them to my eyes. The clarity is amazing.
