High quality wheels. Unfortunately, the wheels are rock hard and create a lot of noise and vibration.

These were easy to install and worked perfectly on the ikea kallax shelf I needed to be movable.

I used these for a mobile telescope dolly and they work quite well. They are well built and roll easily over cracks between pavers in my driveway. The only minor complaint is that although they lock in both roll and swivel, there is a slight degree of play in the swivel so that even locked there is a tiny bit of rotation. This would not be an issue for the vast majority of applications, but I will need to wait until the rain stops before I test out whether this will affect astronomy imaging.

I shopped for Swivel wheels at several stores. They were all really expensive. These were a great price and even better than those I saw and stores.

I can move my toolbox with ease now.

Attempted to ask how much heat the casters will handle. Didnt get an answer so I ordered and got my own answer. They will melt at 400 deg.

These 4 inch Swivel Casters w/brakes are better quality than at my local hardware store and for half the cost. These are heavy duty, locking, swivel wheels. They are tall enough that they can easily transition from carpet to concrete. The brackets come predrilled for the included bolts but I ended up using screws for my project. The install was super easy and straightforward. When I lock down the brake, it keeps the wheel from rolling and the swivel from going side to side. I installed these wheels on my homemade dust cart. These casters are fantastic, I highly recommend!

The bad-ish first: 1. The wheels aren’t true, they’re slightly larger in some areas and aren’t perfectly round. 2. They’re a very stiff plastic, I wish they were a bit softer like a skateboard wheel. 3. They do wobble under my carts, but not enough to give me problems. Just annoying. I was debating with giving a 5 star, but frankly I love these things regardless of my issues, especially for the price. These things are awesome. I made 3 carts for my DJ business because my furniture carts were garbage. These wheels roll SUPER easy, even over any threshold I’ve dealt with, as well as my trailer ramp. They’re easy enough to roll and steer that I can push two carts at the same time in a row, like a mini-train of sorts. Saves me a whole trip. The locks are a bit stiff, but manageable. They give you a good sense that they’re locked well. I also REALLY appreciate that it also locks the swivel. That means these things won’t budge in my enclosed trailer, no matter how Hazzard I go. Honestly for the price, these rock. They’re cheap enough that if they don’t last 5-10 years (which I think they will), it wouldn’t bother me to replace them.

I put these casters on the bottom of a large cabinet desk, hidden by skirting. We can finally move the desk from place to place, and then secure it with brakes. Very solid product.
