These are great guides for the Wahl clippers. I love how the carrier makes it easier to organize and keep track of the clippers. The only downside is the 1/2 guide (1/16) and the 1 1/2 guide (3/16) are not included or at least a space is not left for them, since a professional pair of Wahls will come with them.

If you have the guards that come with your Wahl clippers, donate them to your local beauty school. These are game changers! Fit like a glove. Smooth glide. Sturdy. The stand they come in convinced me immediately. Searching through a bag of guards just looks messy to clients and is frustrating. I do recommend getting the extra 1 1/2 & 1/2 guards. They’re sold separately. Absolutely worth it!!

This is a high quality set of hair cutting guides with metal clips that combined with an open and closed blade adjustments should cut most short hair styles. In my case, I am not a trained barber and so I preferred a couple additional guides not offered in this set to help me achieve a military style cut. The short guides with plastic clips can easily pop loose and if you do not notice in time the mistake might ruin your hair cut. In my experience. the longer guides with the plastic clips do not pop loose very often but I still bought the complete set of guides with metal clips to replace all the guides with plastic clips. Why take any unnecessary chances?

Most stores are cleared out of guides so luckily I found these. Theyre made of higher quality polymer and the metal attachment point seems to fix my main issue of the guide cracking at that specific stress point. Get them and you wont regret it!

Feel very sturdy and secure when I clip them on my clippers. I imagine they will last a very long time.

Ive used these countless times over the last several months and not one has broken, and their performance compared to 100% plastic ones is superior. Thats the reason I bought these. The cheaper 100% plastic alternative, and most common, break all the time. The a100% plastic version will break over time regardless of whether youre careful with them or not. The plastic version over time breaks from the stress of bending the lip into place on the clippers repeatedly. This eventually causes that part to snap off. These dont have that problem because they are metal in that specific area. Perfect. And they snap in to place better too..
