> 3 dayTook a few minutes to install even while my toddler played with all of the pieces. Highly recommend getting the rubber stoppers that are suggested with the purchase as it makes the gate even more secure. Toddler likes to shake gates so I’ll report back if that changes

> 3 dayIn the past I always had to use screws to attach my pet gates to the wall as pressure wasnt ever enough. Now, as I moved to a rental I didnt want to break the wall so I tried a pressure gate once more and, as expected it didnt stay in place. So I looked for options and found Wall Nanny. I was skeptical but decided to give it a try - and I am glad I did! It did solve my problem and keeps my gate in place! Really good!

> 3 dayYes, 2 people, easy to use. These larger pads spread the pressure from the gate tension, minimizing damage to the paint/drywall. Such an obvious design improvement to the gate, surprised manufacturer hadn’t already adopted this piece. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayComes with a hole in the cup for a screw to hold the pad to a surface. I specifically purchased the product so I wouldnt have to drill a hole in my woodwork! Weird. I guess its a lawyer gimmick to avoid lawsuits in the event the buyer does not screw the pad down and an accident occurs. It seems to work just fine from static friction. My dog and cat have been unable to budge the gate.

> 3 dayI chose this Wall Nanny to secure the new gate as much as possible. Because of the structure of my walls having wood trim at the base, I attached the long Wall Nanny, otherwise I could not secure the gate at the wood trim (built in 1978). Furthermore, I am only using the gate for keeping my wild puppy from running speed circles around through the kitchen and living room, preventing me from catching him and retrieving my belongings from his mouth! Definitely, the setup I have with the wood trim is not secure enough for children, as it can easily be bumped out of position. Thankfully, my puppy hasnt even tried to jump up onto it or lean into it, so it is staying in place beautifully.
