Loved this on my cruise. Sat in the pool for hours reading. Just as responsive to my page turning. No leaking whatsoever. The only issue is that if it actually gets partially submerged, it changes pages. This happened often because people would come up and say Is that really water proof? And for dramatic flair, I would submerge it. The gasps were worth having to go back a few pages. One thing. I dont think it should be left laying out in direct sunlight. After it was, plastic seem soft enough for me to feel the need to conduct the water proof test. Stick a napkin in there and dive down in the pool squishing it at all angles. Napkin came back dry as a dessert. This isnt one of those compensated for my fair review bs reviews. Im just someone who loves the product. Oh! I did get an ear infection from floating in the pool for 4-5 hours. Can I blame that on this product? :-)

We have bought many of these cases, with hopes that it was user error. However, I can tell you confidently after all our attempts to keep these cases intact and our devices dry, they have failed the test. We resorted to keeping a bag of rice on hand because we couldnt trust these cases to protect our devices.

Bought this in September 2021 to use while reading my Kindle paper white in the spa. Used approximately 10-12 times. Went to use it today, July 2022, and noticed my Kindle froze. Opened the bag and discovered water got in. Now I never submerged the bag of course, but condescension and splash got into the black plastic seam. The bag works by using 3 zip locks, which are then rolled closed, and secured with the black plastic flap with two snap buttons. Turns out this black plastic flap is pressed stitched to the bag below the three zip locks. This creates a critical flaw, in that the seam attaching the flap to the pouch rips the bag open. See the attached photo with the blue circle. It creates a hole under the 3 zip locks rendering them useless. Now I have a ruined Kindle. Such a ridiculous design flaw. Buyer beware.

Keeps my kindle safe and dry. The new size kindle paper white fits a little snug with a case

I read my Kindle in pool workouts. I got this because people kept bugging me about dropping it - I never have. But now I can turn pages with wet hands. Im going to see if I can make a floating stand from a pool noodle. I loaded the kindle so I just have to unzip the bag to install the charger. I think Ill leave the charger cable plugged in and just connect the usb. I have a thin case on the Paperwhite. I folded it open and the whole thing fits. But to keep cable in the bag I will remove the added case. Its not needed with the bag.

I like this case. I has a hard shell case for my Paperwhite but I like this much better. Its clear enough to be able to read through easily, and strong enough to keep pool water and sand out of it for the whole day. I ordered a few more for my iPhone 6s. Also worked well for those. Happy with purchase and would recommend.

I have an older kindle and it just doesnt work with it unfortunately. I would love for it to, but alas, it just wont. However it is good waterproofing so its great on that front. I also like the dorky little necklace thing its got going on. Just dont expect it to work for older models.

I have a Kindle Paperwhite 6.8 Signature edition. I was looking for a cover/case with a body strap on it or at least a way to attach a strap to the case...it doesnt exist, why not? The Paperwhite is working well, I like it. Need case/cover with some way to attach a strap!

I purchased this to use on vacation so that I could take my Kindle Paperwhite with me to the beach and pool without worrying about it getting splashed. It worked well. I did not dunk this in water, so I cant attest to the full waterproof-ability of this product, but it did provide me with peace of mind. I plan to use it throughout the summer at home when I go to the pool as well.
