WD 4TB Gaming Drive works with Playstation 4 Portable External Hard Drive - WDBM1M0040BBK-WESN

On a 4 TB drive I have 1.74TB left after installing 79 PS4 titles. Load times are a non issue (so far). Setup was cake, and who doesnt like cake? If you dont then move along.

I am not using this for gaming, just as a backup external drive. Is so easy to use - plug and go without fuss or issue.

I bought a 2TB device for my 500GB PS4. I installed a few games on it and I can say I was very happy playing a few games I haven’t played in a while. It wasn’t until I played Code Vein off of it I noticed audio would skip at the beginning of almost every sentence spoken by a NPC and partner. These audio issues were not present when installed on the PS4 itself. I couldn’t find any information regarding this issue online. So I don’t know if it was a faulty external drive, or Code Vein just doesn’t run right off of it. Don’t want to find other games having issues, so refunded.

So far so good. Very easy to set up.

Product wasn’t the full 2tb first of all.

Works great for my husbands gaming needs...

I liked that the ps4 found it quickly. It was easy to setup. Ive moved several games to it. The only problem i had was, had some bad weather and electricity went off for a few seconds and when turned my ps4 on, ( u know says it was turned off improperly, etc...) the device says it needed repairing and might loose data on it. So i hit repair and it repair after a little while with no problems. This has happened to me twice so far, and its repaired itself with no problems so far. It does as described and what i need it to do.

Lo he comprado para ampliar la capacidad de mi nueva PS4 pro, pues no tenía ganas de andar sustituyendo el hdd interno nada más comprarla. El funcionamiento de momento perfecto. Los acabados externos son de calidad y la franja de color azul le da un aspecto más compatible con la consola. Fué reconocido a la primera y tras darle fomato, funciona igual de bien que un hdd interno.
