It’s the perfect PS4 HDD . The power cuts off here frequently and I have never lost my data in the external drive. It always is able to repair the data after an outage .

This 4tb external hard drive worked fine for about 4 months. Then my ps4 wouldnt read it. Lost all my stored games and after the reformate, the playstation couldnt read it.

just got it so there isnt anything to review just yet. some info for possible buyers: came pre-formatted as exFAT so will work for both windows and mac/linux. 110-115 MB/s read and write. not too noisy while operating.

I figured gamers wouldnt put up with a drive that failed, so went with this as a back-up on my Mac. It was smaller than I anticipated - the physical size, not the capacity - but seems solidly built. I reformatted it with a disc utility and its been solid and quiet ever since. That was a couple months ago.

Easy to use and very reliable

I’ve had it less than a year, and about two weeks ago it just stopped connecting to my Xbox. Things like this should last more than a year if they’re going to be this expensive.
