The device is found in settings and formatting was one of the options, it took a couple of minutes. I was able to transfer small 10 GB files in a couple of minutes, it was all very easy to do. Probably my favorite part was the small size, only slightly bigger than my wallet.

10-06-2025I admit I have a fondness for the brand, since the times they were big bulky bricks I have been buying WD external portable HD. So naturally I jumped to review this external for storage both for gaming and for just regular computer stuff. Simple and easy plug and play. Its a little bit more expensive than just the regular WD HD of the same size that is not specifically for gaming, but Amazon offers a great price compared to the regular MSRP. Nice and compact and about exactly the size and appearance of the normal WD 2TB HD. I recommend.
